Three Cloth Diapering Products I Cannot Live Without
Since I am knee deep in the world of cloth diapering, I am always looking for products that make the whole process easier, more fun and better smelling.
Here are three I cannot live without:
1. CJ’s BUTTer
It’s hard to find a good diaper rash cream you can use with cloth diapers. I absolutely love CJ’s BUTTer made by the WAHM who runs CJ’s Sewing Room. I bought the sampler pack which comes with a ton of yummy scents and lasts a long time. Finn is not super diaper rash prone, but it clears up anything he gets immediately. The only problem is when you forget you put it on and can’t remember why your baby’s diaper smells like blueberry pie.
2. Picnic Basket Craft’s wipe solution
For some reason, wipe cubes are just one step too far for me. But I love the wipe solution from Picnic Basket Crafts on Etsy. It’s concentrated, so I just squeeze a little into my spray bottle, add water, and shake it up. Even my husband, who is not a cloth diaper fan at all, swears by it and uses it with disposable wipes. It gets off everything and smells great.
I know, I am not the first (or fiftieth) person to talk about how great this detergent is. I have never had any brand loyalty when it comes to detergent; I tend to just buy what is cheapest. When I started cloth diapering, I dabbled in Tide and All Free in Clear and a couple of WAHM detergents. And then a DS mama sent me a sample of Rockin’ Green with a diaper I bought from her. I couldn’t believe what a difference it made. My diapers were noticeably cleaner and smelled great. I am currently using the Classic Rock Montley Crue scent and it makes doing laundry a little more fun.
So there you have it, the three things I love and can’t imagine cloth diapering without.

I LOVE LOVE CJs BUTTer & RG (I use Motley Clean too!) I’ve been making my own wipe solution, but after reading about the one you use on etsy, I think I’m going to have to get me some. I love trying new things!
