We sent an ultrasound picture (generic) along with the name Alex on it and the due date to both set of grandparents. My mom called saying she told everybody the baby was a boy! I told her Alex could be short for Alexander or Alexandra. lol. But here's the annoying part. She said after this child (my second) I should get myself fixed!! Some people actually like children! My mom was never the mommy type :-) What's her deal??

ugh....sorry about that reaction. But this baby if for you, not other people! My FIL thought we should have stopped after 2. Lucky DH let it go in one ear and out the other even though they are very close.

I know all these people who complain about people saying they should go for a 3rd cause they have 2 kids of the same gender but these people are done at 2. Then there are those of us who want more than 2 and have the same gender, but when you come up with the idea of 3 or more kids they look at you like you have 2 heads. What's up with that? People think you shouldn't make the decision and you should let the general public do it for you?
ANd when they find out we want 4-5 kids and the decision is not cause we are trying for the opposite sex but because we want that many kids they think we sould be in a looney bin.

Husband tells people that assume we have a lot of kids because I'm pushy that until they are supporting our kids they dont get a vote in how many we have.
