I was thinking about getting dd this. She is 14m old. I don't really understand what it does and if it would really be appropriate for her age. If you have a child around this age and you own this let me know what you think. Thanks

We dont have it, but it looks cute:) I think my ds would love it now at 9 months, not sure how long he would use it for?

I'm worried DD will just take the magnets and walk around with them in her mouth. We have enough toys that she does that with.

My son is 16 months and he received it for Christmas. He plays with it every day and the magnets are to big to go in his mouth. It has matching game that is suppose to make it last longer but he just likes to put them on and pull the lever to hear the music and make them fall into the basket. We actually use this toy when he is upset and I want to distract him I will start playing with it and he cannot resist. The only down side to this toy is it is really short It looks like the kid can stand in front of it in the picture but my ds has to squat or I will put it on the couch so he can stand in front of it and play.

Ok that's good to know about the height thing. I though the FP Birdbath toy http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=2341&e=detail&pcat=bulnl&pid=30450 was biger than it actually was. When I saw it in person it was tiny to me so I decided agains purchasing it.
