i do! I do! I have been going about 8 weeks and have lost close to 20 lbs. And this is the first time I really feel like I am doing it the healthy way. It doesn't drop pounds off, but you aren't supposed to lose but 1-2 lbs a week to be healthy anyways. If you are going to do WW, I would highly suggest going to meetings. i know it sounds lame, but it really helps to feel accountable for the stuff you are eating all week. (not that they zap you at the door if you had a bad week! But I always feel I have to live the plan since I am paying for the meetings!!:D Pm me if you have any questions or need help with the plan!

I was a WW before I was pregnant with Brendan, and as soon as we get back from Disney World next week, I'll be going again. It works, and it was really easy to follow. I lost about 40 lbs, and then with the pregnancy and breastfeeding, I've put about 25 back on. (Yah, I'm one of the lucky ones who gains weight while breastfeeding. Lucky me.) I started going again a few months ago but just couldn't get it together. Now that my son is eating solids and not nursing around the clock I think I can do it again. I'm excited about getting started again, but I certainly don't want to be counting points while on vacation. :)
Good luck ...

WW worked for me after my twins were born, but I am having a hard time getting my act together now, trying to lose weight after ds was born in November. So far I have lost 19 pounds, but I'm goofing off and not really being organized about it at home. (That's how I did so well with it before.)
Anyone want to help me stay accountable? I do really well the day after a meeting, but 3 days later I'm doing whatever I want and that's not the way to lose weight.

If you want to PM me when you have a craving, feel free! That is what I need someone to talk me down from the chocolate! lol I feel like just telling someone I am thinking about cheating on my points makes me accountable, so sometimes I call dh. But I am sure he is tired of hearing it:rolleyes: LMK if you would be interested:)

I just started ww online. There is no way I could make weekly meetings. My dh is crazy at work and sometimes he has to work late and by the time I could go I am beat from the day. My dr. actually suggested wwonline to me. I have been doing it for 1 full day!!! I hope this works. My dd is 11mo and I have only lost the weight of giving birth. I am also dealing with post partum depression and the meds could cause the inability to loose weight, plus I may have thyroid issues. So with all that said I am right there with you!!
Best wishes!! and we will keep each other accountable!!

Me! I'm starting today. We have it at work, otherwise I'd never find the time. I have a serious chocolate problem that needs to be addressed. :)

I just ordered the "at home kit" online yesterday. I've done ww on my own before (kept a journal in excel that figured & tracked pts) and followed their plan and it really helped. I'm too cheap to pay the monthly fee so I figure the at home kit would be best :) I can't til I get it.

I cant afford the meetings either. On top of the fact that we only have one car and meetings are at least 45 min away :( I really need the accountability. I have got to drop some weight. I love to eat though and it shows. I cant keep making excuses. Im embarrassed for people to see me out in public. I know they are thinking that Im still HUGE after haviung Dalton. I have been avoiding the cakes and cookies isles at the grocery store. That way I am not tempted to buy them. However DH brings them home :( He isnt really trying and has lost like 20 lbs in no time. I guess the exercise he gets at work makes the difference. I know before I quit work on my maternity leave that I could eat out everyday and never gain a lb but I also worked really hard as a CNA at a nursing home. Now dont get me wrong I work hard here at home but I dont get all that cardio here like I did there. I too gained weight while breastfeeding. I guess cause I ate too much. I lost about 25lbs after having Dalton but now I have gained it all back. I have to loose at least 50lbs but I would like to loose 70lb or more. Im not much on chocolate but potato chips are my weakness. I could eat a whole bag. Potatoes period are my weakness. I love them fried. Im so proud that I didnt buy a bag of potatoes at the grocery store today and I didnt buy any chips either. If I do get them lately I have been getting the Garden Sun Chips. They are still fattening but healthier than others. Anyway... Im rambling.... lol... I guess I just need help. Im here if anyone needs to talk as well!!!

I just joined WW on 4/29. At my first weigh-in, I had lost 4.4 lbs. I was shocked. I didn't realize that it could be this easy. I am finding that it's not that hard to eat healthfully. I just wish that I did this sooner.
I started to gain weight after my DD was born. I am determined to lost all this excess weight. I know I can do this. My DH is very supportive. I am also doing this with my sister, so that helps.
One thing, which grocery stores carry WW foods? I am looking for bread because I like to eat a sandwich at lunch time. Cakes and cookies wouldn't hurt either.

I shop at a locally owned supermarket that carries all their stuff, but I have heard that the Walmarts with supermarkets in them have a lot of their stuff ( I don't go to WM, so I don't know for sure)
The best bread that I have found for few points is by Pepperidge Farm, it is 3 slices of whole grain bread for 2 points! And whats even better it actually tastes pretty good!! It is called Light Style.
WW snack cakes are good, the choco and lemon, carrot cake wasn't very yummy. They have muffins too, but IMHO they aren't worth the 3 points apiece.
Their cereal si overpriced and ok, but I have found that Kellogs Oat Bran flakes (3/4 c for 1 pt) with some fresh fruit is better and cheaper. Their bagels are good, but they only have white no WhWh.
Their chocolates are pretty good too try the coconut ones and the mint patties, 1 point apiece, stay away from the toffee though, it is not good IMHO (but I am an experienced chocolatier/holoic!!)
Their ice cream is ok too, I love the 1 pt apiece giant fudge bars, they are huge and chocolatey, so I suppose that says it all!
The frozen meals aren't too bad either, especially like the Southwest rice and beans, but Lean Cuisine has a better selection and they put the points value on the side of the box too.
If you go to the ww meetings in a place that sells their stuff (it is different from the stuff they sell in supermarkets) you should try the Cinnamon Swirl all day breakfast bar-2 pts (now, I found this title misleading, it doesn't last all dy by any means!) they taste like cinnamon struesel coffe cake in granola bar form. The Chocolate Peanut Caramel bars are what I use for candy bar substitutes (they are 2 pts apiece too). Their smoothies are ok, but I found they tasted mealy, so I prefer to make my own with fresh fruit and ff milk.
So as you can see I obess about food, so if you have any questions I can try to help. Plus I am sure that lotsa other ladies have their faves too. BTW lest I sound like a huge pig from the rest of my post, I have lost 21 lbs in 10 weeks( woo hoo!!) with WW!

Just wanted to let you mamas know that WW has a new cookbook out that all the recipes take 20 min or less to prepare and cook:thumbsup: It is 13.95 comes, with a bonus cookbook that uses whole foods, and a dollar of every book sale goes to the ACS.( or the AHA, can't remember which) I made beef and broccoli last night and it was awesome!!

I am going to be doing the WW at home. I would really like to have an accountability partner to help keep me going. I really need to lose 50lbs. Right now I am so discouraged...I seem to have no willpower. HELP!!! ~Holly

My mother has been going to WW for ... oh, say... 5 years or so CONSISTANTLY..... she's lost over 150 pounds (having triplets REALLY messed up her matabolism... plus staying at home for so many years and being a closet snacker doens't help).... at any rate... she goes to all of the weekly meetings and her dream job is to be the Team Leader (meeting leader?) lady once she retires from teaching full time. WW actually doens't charge her for the weekly meetings anymore (they haven't for almost a year) because she is so involved with the meetings--if no one is speaking up, she will... she's kind of a "plant" in the meetings--if they need enthusiasm, they can always look to her to get the group going. She's such a positive person with a great humor about weightloss that many people have KEPT coming ot the meetings because they see how well she's done. Mom doesn't "take time off" and she knows that doing WW from home wouldn't work for her... but I"ve seen how great the points program has been for her (along with TONS of walking and using the stationay bike at home) so we've always been supportive of her. This is her second time around loosing over 100 pounds and at age 58 it isn't easy... but she's doing it "for keeps" she says... :)
Good luck everyone!

I have been back on W.W. for a few months now and I LOVE IT! I am EBF'ing and I was a little worried about supply and stuff. But I am able to have sooo many points in a day, I dont feel like I am dieting and I am still loosing weight. My supply has not been affected either. I have to say that this has been the easiest way I have lost weight ever! Good luck, I am glad you decided to join, you will love it.. its so easy!

Anyone who reaches their goal weight and keeps it off for 6 weeks gets lifetime membership and free meetings! (even if you don't speak up a lot at your meetings-I am not a big talker at meetings myself!) Just as an encouragement to everyone! Just gotta make sure that you work to keep it off though, cuz even if you are an ounce over goal you have to pay. A lady who goes to my center (but not my particular meeting) took off her undies to lose 2 ozs. in order to stay at goal so she didn't have to pay! Believe it or not, it worked!:lostit:

I'm not sure if this thread is even being looked at anymore but I went for my weekly meeting today and lost another 1.2 pounds. The last meeting I had was last wednesday (5 days ago). So I'm thinking 1.2 pounds is pretty good in less than a week. :)
