Wow very nice!
To get the knit tighter, you'd probably want something w/a smaller gauge. You can find them on Ebay & other sites (my fave http://decoraccentsinc.com/loomlink.html is I am really drooling over lots of these!)

very neat - where'd you find the pattern for these?
Still would love the newborn instructions - maybe someone can help figure it out???
I changes the pattern a little - I only did 2 rows on the legs (instead of 8) - I wish I would have made the rise shorter than 26 and I did a super stretchy cast off for removing the legs from the pegs (if that makes sense)

PS- Would be a really fun project for a big sister!

so did you make those using those little board thingies with the pegs sticking up? I saw them at the store tonight and was wondering how they were used.

Sorry about the pic's Mama's - I'll try to figure it out?
Yep it's the peg thing's - sooo easy - I have NO knitting experience and was able to make a useable half way cute pair of short in a couple of hours - can't complain....
I just need more patterns!!!
Still hoping someone will know of the newborn pattern????
I just got kniffty knitter's from my friend and I joined last week a few yahoo groups. My favorite being Knifftyknitterlooms but others are roundlooms and loomknittingnewbies. They have great information and tons of patterns. Lots of members and they all make up their own patterns and post pictures and the pattern details. Most of them have blogs that they post this stuff on as well and you can get patterns so many patterns for these looms from those groups!!! They are so cute too. I bet they would be able to help you out.

Thanks for sharing this! You inspired me to check it out and buy KKs.
If you have a full set of four Knifty Knitters looms, would it work to just use the blue Knifty Knitter loom for a newborn instead of the larger yellow one? The blue is 16 in. in circumference and the red is about 22 in. My DD is 5 mo. old with a waist of about 14.5 in., so with a drawstring, she would fit into a 16 in. waist with a bit to spare? Is this logical? I may give it a try with the red loom so she has more room to grow.
As for making it tighter, I might try using the knit (http://decoraccentsinc.com/knit_stitch_movie.html) stitch instead of the "e" wrap stitch. Wish me luck!

I should totally try this. I got some looms at Hobby Lobby with their 40% off coupon. I think they cost me like $7 for 3.
ETA: I'm not sure I understand the instructions. I've never done anything but go all the way around me loom.
