I always fry up some tofu with some veggies with a little curry (turmeric, cumin, coriander), salt and pepper for a breakfast scramble. Also, if you marinate tofu in soy sauce or any sauce you like, it really soaks in the flavors! I've made tofu "steaks" by soaking in soy sauce, salt, and pepper and baking until golden. Yummmy!

cut into little rectangles (the extra firm type) then dredge them in itallian style breadcrumbs (can dip in egg first if you want) and pan saute in olive oil. When crispy and warm, place on a bed of pasta and pour marinara over it (top with parmesean cheese if desired). Tofu Parmesean!

Tofu French Toast
(2 servings)
4 slices whole-wheat bread
1/2 pound of soft tofu
1/4 cup of soy milk or rice milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup of water
1 Tablespoon of soy margerine
Mix tofu, soy or rice milk, vanilla, cinnammon, and water in a blender on liquify until you get the consistancy of two beaten eggs.
Prepare a large skillet on a heat just above medium with no-fat cooking spray.
Dip the bread into the "egg" mixture and gently scoot them around with your fingers -- flipping each piece so both sides are drenched and all the mixture is absorbed.
Start cooking the bread in the skillet. Brown each slice for about 3 or 4 minutes.
Anything goes topping-wise for this recipe: mushed banana, fresh berries, yogurt, jam, maple syrup

I always add a bit of tofu to fruit smoothies and the kiddos never even know it's in there. Also, Mori-Nu makes a pudding mix that you make with tofu and I've made several variations with that including tofu, the vanilla flavored mix, strawberries, blend together and pour half into a graham-cracker crust, slice some bananas over that and cover with the rest of the pudding mix. Place in the freezer until slightly frozen. A yummy summer treat! :)

These are the tastiest! I call them "Tofu Snacks" :goodvibes:
Cut a block of tofu into sticks kinda like french fries.
Throw them in a bowl and then I drizzle them with a bit of sesame oil (a little goes a long way), a few squirts of Bragg's liquid aminos, a few pinches of cumin and a bunch of sesame seeds, and sometimes a bit of pepper to taste.
Sorry but I'm not much of a measuring kind of cook :giggle:
Mix everything together and throw them on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven at 350 degrees or so for about half an hour (I usually turn them about half way through) or until they are kinda crispy on the outside.
I usually let them cool a bit before eating them, it seems to firm them up a bit and they taste even better that way! Deelish!
Great for a snack, or on salad, or with some rice and veggies

If you eat chocolate:
one box extra firm silken tofu
one package chocolate chips
put tofu in food processor, process until smooth.
Melt chocolate chips in microwave, add to tofu, process until well mixed.
Refrigerate in a bowl, or pie crust-regular or graham, for a few hours.
Chocolate mousse. No one knows it's tofu. I've had confirmed tofu haters love it!

We just tried this recipe this morning - very tastey! Although, I think next time I'll use plain bread instead of texas toast....I think it was a bit too thick (although, that was my issue, not the recipes LOL)

Cube firm tofu, coat in corn starch and fry them in oil. You can dip them in all kind of sauces, like soy. My kids like those.
