Watcha got? :)

I just dusted off the old baby book this morning and I'm pretty unimpressed with just about everything this go around.

On my thinkin' list:

Girls: Kinsey, Clara, Cora, Willa, Ellis, Elliot, Emery, Lainey, Violet and Maddox.

Haven't gotten very far into the boys yet: Maddox, Liam, Elliot.

For a boy I like Elan  DH said it reminds him of Tiger Wood's ex-wife. boo. His boy pick is Ulysses, which seems like a mouth full.

For girls I have many many names I love:
Poppy
Rose
Evelyn
Eleanor
Clara
Ella
Enid
... I could go on.

Here is my favorite baby name resource: http://www.nymbler.com/

I really liked Micah a lot for a boy last go round. I still do, so if it's a boy I'm 80 % sure it will be that. If it's a girl..goodness gracious, she may be nameless for months :giggle2:

My husband likes Ashley Hope for a girl. It's not my favorite. He won't even discuss boy names.

That's so funny, my DH and I could name 20 girls with no problem! :giggle2:

My DH is the same way. He honestly doesn't have a single boy name he likes though, so I think he's kind of given up. :banghead:

I've been thinking about them for years, that tends to happen when you're TTC for 11 years, lol.

We can't completely agree on anything. The closest we get is Shelby for a girl and Riley for a boy. I'm still not sold on Shelby though, I would prefer Sydney or Spencer. Why all my top girl names start with a S I don't know. My top boy name has always been Grayson, but DH isn't crazy about it.

We've talked a little. The main thing is that it has to work in English and Spanish. And by work... I mean not sound strange (like say Bautista or Guillermo or Lautaro).

For a girls it's way easier... I like sofia, lucia, luisa

For a boy... I personally like Agustin... even if it's not an English name. DH suggested Ramon (it's a family name) and it just kills me. I can't say no because it's a sweet sentiment and I think I could learn to love it. But still. Ramon? Why????????????????? The other option for him is Andres... but it's hard to pronounce correctly and I don't want to stumble over my own kid's name.

Wow ttc for 11 years :hugs: I can't even imagine.

Oh I do have one for a girl, Mercedes. But I don't know if dh will go for it or if it's a good idea because of the car... But I'm thinking Mercedes from the count of Monte Cristo. :giggle: Not sure if it goes with our last name either. Will have to think about it.

We have similar requirements! DH is Mexican so our names need to be easily pronounced by Spanish speakers, but I don't necessarily want the usual Latin names. I loved Gabriela since high school so it just happened to work ok despite being popular. Liliana was super tough and now I feel another girl would need a similar 4 syllable name and all I can think of, I don't like!

Our name list goes like this, if it's a boy i'm 99% sure he will be Samson Riley. The 1% of being unsure is if we will definitley use Riley or not. But we are definitely naming our boy Samson.

For girls I am really liking Holly Jane, or Mya Jane and DH really like Skylar (Skye for short) and Mila. All top contenders so not really sure which we'll wind up using.

DH and I were actually having this discussion last night. Mostly cause he was being a punk and was throwing out boy names that came from his favorite shows/stories/movies etc. I think I turned down at least 5 Star Trek names! (He's not serious - I hope) The only name I told him I'd be okay with was Logan (which I think he thought of because of Wolverine). We didn't even talk about girl names. DH is weird!

Coral - dh likes Knox too. I think for a boy he really wants Matthew Henry though.

Hmm it might be easier to convince him for Mercedes, it means merciful. I like Mercedes Hope.

Our top contender right now are:

Boy:
Levi
Gray
Denver

Girl:
Reed
Lillian (Lily)

Its going to be hard coming to a decision this time around. Nothing stands out as a clear winner like it did with my other children. I knew Harper would be Harper from the moment I saw those two lines.

Micah is our boy name also. I have no idea for a girl. All of the ones I like are way too popular now.

Absolutely!

If we're having a girl (I think we are...I was right last time :) ) she will be Hannah Elizabeth. If we're having a boy, he will more than likely be Benedict (Ben) William.

Sent from my iPhone so please excuse the autocorrect craziness. :)

Yea, we really liked Madeline before we found out DS was a he. It wasn't until after he was born that I realized everyone and their brother has a Madeline. There's nothing wrong with that, but we don't want our child to be one of a dozen in his/her kindergarten class with the same name.

We had two girls names when we found out about having twins last time so Sierra Jane will be our girl. If it is a boy no idea. He likes Trevor but I'm not a huge fan..... So I am making another list of names for him to reject all but two, like last time lol. I am think though that if I am having twins it is two girls for some reason.....

We would have liked to do Micah but our nephew is already Micah. Right now we are looking at for a boy:
Malach and various spellings Malak etc
Malcom
Magnus --though I refuse that one, DH REALLY wants it though
Malchaiah and various spellings Malkiah etc.

For a girl it is already set: Loia Lee Anne (Loia is pronounced low-wa and was DH's grandmother's name)

Leah Ruth for a girl. We have two boys, so another boy name would be hard. We have Tobias Miles and Malachi Titus, so I like Isaac, Isaiah, Gideon, Michah, and Jeremiah. We shall see.

Well I always wanted to name my little girl Wynter. We didn't get to choose Anna's name really, since that was her name in Ukraine, and we just didn't want to change it and confuse her. Dh won't go for Wynter since our last name is Knapp (nap). So I like Loretta Grace. As for boys names, I have no idea yet.

I Want Sophia Marilyn Rose for a girl if we're having a boy I think I am gonna let him decide

But I might go with Sophia Glenna Rose or Sophia Elizabeth Rose ... Glenna Elizabeth was my grammie's name so I'd like to honor her in some way with the baby name.

Ha! I'm not even pregnant and I think of names!! I really am liking Dawson for a boy. For a girl there are so many options I feel too overwhelmed when I try to think of "the one"! lol.
