Still diet coke...I have one for breakfast every morning. And with summer in full swing I'm also drinking sweet tea.
I also love fast food.

Sweet tea is so yummy. I have to make it myself though, because I am really picky about the amount of sugar. McD's is good if you get half unsweet and half sweet IMO- normally it's way too sweet.

AOTD: Definitely sweet tea. I drink it every day. I was dying in California where no restaurants served it. I can never make it exactly right. One of the first things I said when DH got Virginia for his new unit was "yay sweet tea!!!!" lol.

It's between coke and ovaltine, but coke's starting to not taste right to me sometimes.

AOTD: I don't have one. Not a coffee or soda drinker. I will have a soda on occasion (at the movies or something) But I don't have anything that I NEED every day.

sweet tea lovers......anyone LOVE Cane's sweet tea? That's about the only one that is too sweet. I have to half it with unsweetened. But yummmmm!

I've never tried it Katie. There are places I like to mix with unsweet though because I don't like it to taste like syrup lol. DH claims that that's the only way sweet tea is good but I like to taste the tea in all the sugar.

I don't really have one. I used to LOVE coffee, then thought I was allergic. Recently found out it's the high amount of caffeine I'm allergic too so I can drink decaf, but we haven't bought any yet in the house. I like chocolate, but it's not a daily thing. I like pop but again not daily. Don't really have one!
Oh and the trick to making sweet tea. They boil the water with sugar first once it's all dissolved they make tea and then let it cool and you have sweet tea That's the trick!

Hoping to get to Joann's today for wool and fabric to make sleep sacks and work on longies for this babe. I'm also going to attempt booties to match the hats I made my friend for her baby shower. I have the yarn already and it will be fun to try. I'm sure I can figure it out!

Well if you put a thing of ice cream in front of me I'm going to eat it all. :giggle: But I don't have anything I HAVE to have every day.

Just finished mowing the lawn, still need to hurry up and finish LAST year's end of the year teacher gift for Nathaniel's teacher! I was so sick I couldn't finish it before the end of the school year so trying to hurry up and finish it and give it to her friday. Also need to start these for back to school gifts for both teachers this year: http://amandaparkerandfamily.blogspot.com/2011/07/tutorial-teachers-oreo-apple-pops.html

YES! This is what I do- it turns out perfectly, and if it's not sweet enough, I add more sugar while the water is still hot so it dissolves.

Coffee is my vice......and knitting.

My big girls come home TODAY!! It has been a long 5 weeks. I cannot wait to see them. They had so much fun and grandma and grandpa are super sad to see them go. I never thought I would be a proud parent of a 13 and 14 year old, but they are such good kids. Never in any trouble, good students and so kind.

Other than that, i am knitting my butt off! Have to finish a romper today and start a skirty for someone. Then another skirty and some longies to finish for another mama. Then hopefully I can knit for Isley! I have only done a springtime in hollis for her and she needs a romper and a few nb longies.

Have an awesome day!

Tomorrow we could possibly find out if we got orders to housing :nervous:. I've been praying and praying and praying. I told Josh if his Senior Chief doesn't get to him by Wednesday afternoon about it he should tell him that my b-day is on Saturday and this would be the best gift I could ever ask for lol. Which is true.

Good Luck Hilary! I hope you get the news you've been waiting for & get to move asap!!

Vice... umm, lately, I have to admit i've been shopping for baby/toddler clothes way too much. I really need to cut back on my buying. Not really any particular food vice though - just food in general, LOL.

We had a busy weekend & we converted ds crib to a toddler bed on Saturday. It went surprisingly well. He didn't even ever try to get out and play in his room. We stayed by his bedside for a little while and when he'd sit up, just tell him to lay down & go ni-night. When we left, I thought he'd get up right away, but he actually stayed in the bed. I hope it continues to go so well. Our plan is to have ds in his crib converted for a few months and then maybe Christmas, or in January when he turns 2 look into getting either a different toddler bed or a twin for him & use the crib for the baby.

Ugh, off to the doc in an hour. Having major cramping and pains in my vagina (those awful pinching cervix pains). Hoping it isnt doing anything, but this is what happened last pregnancy at 30 weeks and I was dialated to a 2 and 25 percent effaced. And of all days, the day the girls are coming home.

Update: had a FFN done, wont know results for 24 hours. Had an exam, cervix is long and thick, but fingrtip to 1 cm dialated.

Have to take it easy, wear my support belt for my hernia (he thinks that could be the cause of some of my pain) and wait for FFN results.

AOTD: caffeine. either a redbull or cup of coffee and I'm good but otherwise I get nasty migraines. Ugh... I have weaned off of it before but being pregnant is just too tiring for me as it is, can't imagine life without it now. Sad!

Hilary- you gets get new housing orders!!! KUP!

KTKatie- Ugh, that stinks! A fingertip isnt uncommon though after so many babies. I hope your Ffn comes back fine! I did a research study on that when I was pregnant with my twins and had one done with #3.

Holly- Glad DS stayed in his bed! I hope he doesn't figure out he can get out anytime soon! LOL

AFM- got some school shopping done for the youngest 3, still need to take the twins and my dad is coming by in a bit and we're getting some shoes for them all. Oh dh bought me a new Bluetooth stereo today and is installing it now. Yay! It's illegal to even hold your phone in CA so it's definitely necessary. Plus it will play music from my phone if I even upload it, still haven't done that for my new phone yet but Pandora is awesome so I'm excited about that!

Kristi- I had no idea that was illegal in CA. Whoops! Good thing I never got caught when we lived there.

I've been a blubbering idiot today. Seriously I've cried over the most ridiculous things. I'm so emotional this time. I was not like this with DD at all and my DH was gone at boot camp and gone to sea quite a bit. You'd think it would have been worse then!
