1st attempt worked but missfired too!

So I have been lurking abit on these board. Just nosing around trying to decide if EC is right for us. Today I read about a LO who makes at 5 am to go and thought hmm. About that time my 4 mo was stirring during his nap so maybe he has to go right? I took him to the bathroom and knelt down and sat/held him on/over the toliet. Can you guess how this turned out? Yep he peed! Right between the seat and the toilet soaked my shirt wiggled and proceeded to pee on my pants. Guess I should have thought about before I put him there. Why oh why didn't I just but him in the tub with a nice side wall to protect me! Anyways yep it worked and now he is sleeping again and I got cleaned up thought I bet I know so mommas who would get a smile out of this.
When dh gets home I'm going to ask where out potty chairs are stored at.

Today my mom came to visit and took my 3 month old baby to the potty for me.

I walk in the bathroom and my mom has her sitting backwards on the big toilet. She says to me "she is not doing anything." Right away I noticed the teeny puddle on the floor below and told my mom that yes, she DID do something...but the way my mom held her caused it to run down between the seat and the bowl onto the floor and my mom never noticed.

We got a good laugh.

I remember one of my early attempts to potty during nursing. I was very proud that I caught a poop. Then, as I got up to clean up, he promptly soaked me in pee. :giggle:
