Here is what I have been working on I'm waiting on my wool to come in so I can dye it and spin it Yummy can't wait! So I have been playing around with just diapers. And I got bored and glued stuff to my cell phone LOL :goodvibes: Just added my first Mei Tie 4-22-07

I do have alot of cards and I use embird to make alot of my own If I don't have it or can't find it I try to wing it myself LOL
You have to try yours for the embroidery you will be hooked :goodvibes:
You can even embroider on longies with a stanblizer behind them thats the next thing Im gonna do next time I have the time LOL

I love the contoured diapers. Could you tell me how you finished the edges? I have a sewing machine but I'm a slow learner. Dumb it down, as much as possible.
Its not that hard. Before you cut them out make sure you wash and dry them about 9 times to get them the size that they will stay. Else they will shrink and wont fit after they are cut and washed.
I used my pattern but you could just fold it in half and trace out an hourglass shape make sure the backside that goes around the waist is all the way to the edges of the diaper so your wings will be long enough to wrap to the front of the baby.
Cut it out you can save the cut pieces to sew together to make a center soaker. if you want to do that just line up both cut edges up on top of each other and stitch together.
then sew it in the middle of the contour. Either around the edges or just down the middle of the soaker.
The edge is just 1 inch fold over elastic (FOE) I did not pull it tight I just used it to keep the edges nice and neat so they wont fray. I just used a straight stitch or running stitch I think its called. Then I had a fancy stitch build in the machine and just used it to make it Look a little more finished and used the main color thread in each embroidery design to tie it all together.
