Thought this would be the easiest way to keep a tally!

Doctor said she THINKS girl, then changed her mind at the very end and says she just doesn't know. My anatomy scan is in 2 weeks but I'm betting on it still being a girl.

Now how accurate are they? They said boy at 18 week scan, but want a 30 week one as well. I'm EDD May 30 and/or June 1 depending on who you believe...

I guess it depends on how good of a shot they get.

This is the shot I received yesterday. The baby was being shy and first and then the tech was able to get a shot looking up between the baby's legs. If that is not little boy parts I will be shocked when the baby gets here

Would surprise me too-both the tech and the Dr. thought it was a boy, but it wasn't cooperating quite as well as yours was.

I think he got tired of her poking him. He had started hitting and kicking the equipment. He even put his little hand up to his forehead like "just leave me alone".

I think it depends on the u/s equipment to some extent, and how long they spend looking or how many different views they get. The doctor was pretty sure my girl was a girl at the 12 week u/s because she spent 30 minutes trying to get a good measurement of the back of her neck, and instead the baby spent most of the time showing off her butt.

Good thinking with the poll!

My midwife guessed 80% chance of a boy for me..but I'll be more certain (hopefully!) after my 20 week on Feb 3rd:)

We got a pretty clear shot of girly parts!

I had 5 different people poking at me at a couple different ultrasounds and all of them say girl. After that many looking I say it's a pretty good shot she's a girl!

It's so neat to see it laid out graphically. I just wish I'd put team green as the green option (that's my OCD creeping in).

Gread idea, Lucy!!

We are team green, however, DH informed me the other night "it's a boy". Yesterday at our MW appt when we were listening the hb it maintained between 142-144. He just looked at me and raised his eyebrows like "I told you so" lol With all of our girls the hb never got lower than the 155 range, but was usually in the 160's.

Lol that's funny! My girl this time is 140 one appt and the next 158 so we would have never been able to guess by her crazy heart rate!

My DS had a hb between 130 and 145. My DD had a hb between 165 and 180. This baby is a girl and has a hb of between 135 and 150.

DS's heartrate was ALWAYS above 150 indicating a girl. This babies is in the 160 range everytime, so it's hard to tell what that means! :dunno: :giggle:

Team Green! We wouldn't have been able to find out anyway, Murg wasn't very cooperative on even getting a face shot. :giggle: We'll have another u/s after the move on 4/10. I'm hoping for more cooperation for better shots, but not enough to find out.

And heart rate has been between 154 and 159.

I had an amnio, so know for sure it is a boy :). Then again, it was so clear from the u/s at 17 weeks that I could tell.

lol nah. There's only one of me, and it's no big deal. If they're both boys I'll put boy, if it's one of each I'll do team green. :-)

There was another twin mama early on, Kryzde, but she lost one of the babies in the first tri. She doesn't post here anymore, but is still on the fb group.

Lost our twin around week 8 :( But we've got one still kicking and looking healthy :)

19 week U/S baby was sitting indian style with "his" (I'm banking on a boy ;)) feet buried in placenta so all we got was a "Sure, I'll go with a 51% chance that it's a boy" from our Dr. :giggle:

Wow every other board I'm on there are more boys than girls! I know the surprises can sway it one way of the other but look at all those girls! :) Lucky mommies! I'm happy to be having a little boy, and it is what we both wanted first, but a little sad since I do want a little girl as well.

We're having a boy! We're so excited we have 2 girls 21 months apart, then there are 3 yrs between DD2 & DS. DS and DS#2 will be 27 months apart. The girls are best friends and share many of the same interests. We are hoping the boys will be good friends as well.

Didn't you think it was a boy before they told you girl? Excited for you!
Ours seemed pretty clearly boy, but I had such a strong feeling about it being a girl, that I still have my moments where I wonder. I'd be happy either way.

We have friends who have 3 girls, ultrasound said #4 was another girl. They decided later to do a 3D, and, guess what, it showed boy!! They were so thrilled. Little guy's 4 months old now.

I know how you feel. I was 100% certain this baby was a girl, so I was shocked when the tech told me it was a boy. I even made her check twice. She seemed sure it was a boy, but sometimes I'm still afraid it will pop out and be a girl after all this blue knitting! :giggle: It seems more common for it to go the other way though (tech thinks it's a girl, but it turns out to be a boy).

:giggle: I know what you mean! With DD1 she was all about showing us (and we wanted to know). But with #2, it would have been hard to tell and we had decided early on to let any future babies be surprise babies!

I'm still leaning towards boy this time around. I'm forcing myself to not be disappointed (for lack of a better term) with another girl.

I'm going to drop off my paperwork at my new OB tomorrow, hoping they stick with giving me another u/s Monday for my first appt with them! :crossfingers:
