So i have yet to get my diapers and its coming up on 40ish days i think since i paid with PP. she has still been in contact with me and has contacted her PO now. she said her mom sent the box because she was working, and her mom forgot to put a returne address on it. Now i dont know what to think (i am pretty sure they dont except packages without a returne address ( i will have to check to be sure) when sending overseas because of the scares we have had with bombs ect... i just dont know what to do. I think i have waited and now its getting down to if i dont file a claim i am out $85 at no fault of my own. I just dont know. i think i will give it till monday then let her know that i will be opening a paypal claim (how do i do this without sounding rude?) i dont want this to be a bitter experiance for her or for her to think that i am just being unreasonable, because i really have waited now till last min.
So i bought some diapers off of the FSOT. The lady has 14 possitive feedback (more then i have and i know i am a good FSOTer). it was $85 and that was a few weeks ago, i still have not gotten the diapers but the lady is being so good about it, she has kept in contact with me, gave me DC# that showes something was on its way to me just has not made it yet and she has gone to the PO to talk to them about it. mail sometimes takes 2 weeks at the most to get to me (i am in JAPAN) but never 3 weeks (unless it is disney store and i dont order from them anymore). i dont want to file a claim because i dont *think* that she is ripping me off but at the same time i think i only have 30 days(?) to make a claim with PP. i dont mind waiting because i am not due till july but at the same time i really dont want to be out $85.
So what would you do? i really feel that maybe it got lost in the mail, but if it never comes i am out money! do i even have a case with Pay pal? I am so lost as to what to do:banghead:

Since you are international I would wait it out. You do have 45 days and since the dc shows movement you know she has sent it. She has done her part, so for now I would just be patient and wait. IMO if you file too soon it is just going to make her no longer willing to ship to international or APO addresses. It's not her fault if it is stuck in the mail. She actually was nicer than me, since I don't ship internationally. I've had items never make it to me, with mamas unable to prove it shipped. I did get refunded, but do not want to risk putting myself in that place as a seller.

I lost two packages over my ds days...and was out over 100 bucks...to find out if you contact a mod, you won't be screwed actually. More than one mod said if I had contacted them, something could've been worked out. Just a thought...

This. Two weeks is not long to wait when you're international and she shipped and has been communicating. It's not her fault that it has to travel that far. Also, I have had mail come from one state away and take two weeks because of post office problems. You need to wait a reasonable amount of time. If you are really worried you can contact a mod, but they will tell you to wait longer too. You do have 45 days after all.

It has been 3 weeks. And like I said I really don't want to file a claim I dont feel like I am being ripped off I am just worried I will be out money. So how long would you guys wait? It's been 3 weeks and a few days. I don't want to contact a mod yet I am hoping it comes this week. Just to give you an idea I bought another diaper from someone els and they shipped the same day and I got the other diaper in 6 days! Hint take usually no more then a week. Oh and if the thing is just lost I feel so bad for this lady, this was her first international shipping ( but my address is technically California).

Well she is protected on her end If she put tracking on it cause it proves she shipped it so Paypal won't penalize her
As for you id just wait it out sometimes post offices just suck and maybe it got held up in customs it could take awhile

DD crashing.
I am also overseas if it gets stopped by customs it can take up to 6 weeks easily. Also if you are apo it can take longer.
I would not worry yet. Most of my packages take at least 2 to 3 weeks some up to 6.
Also keep in mind local holidays as well as US holidays affect delivery times.

You have 45 days. The PO doesn't consider international packages lost until 6 weeks. Please give it time.

I would wait it out. Also this is why many sellers refuse to ship internationally, sipping takes SO long.

Crashing too :giggle:
Wait!!!
I have a friend stationed in Germany and sent her some stuff she needed not that long ago. She got it just under 6 weeks. International shipping is always wonky, sometimes I send things and it is there in 2 weeks. Be patient (though I know it can be hard :hugs: ), she did everything on her part right.

I would file. You only have so long to do so, and you don't want to miss the window. Has she given you ANY proof of shipping?

Yeah if she hasn't provided proof of shipping i'd file by now.

If she did get a DC number then I'm not sure your claim will be successful because she did ship something and the DC is proof of that. Unfortunately I think you're out of luck.

I would go ahead and file right before the 45 days and let PayPal decide whether or not it's a valid claim. I would just let the seller know that you are needing to file in order to protect yourself but you will be happy to send her payment again once (if) the package arrives.

I would ask for a refund and say if it makes an appearance you are happy to send pp again.
Give her the chance, then if she declines or does not respond asap file. I would say I need an answer within 24 hours or I will have to file.
Its a crappy situation on both ends. I hope it still works itself out. :)
I have a package I sento to the US right now that is taking much longer then expected.
