This is the Yard Sale Wrap Skirt from Weekend Sewing :):)

Excuse the not so great cell phone self portrait.

I looooove my new skirt :)

I also made my mom a reversible headband from a pattern from the same book. (5the pattern wasn't reversible, I decided to do that on my own). I used fabric that she had sewn together when she made a wall hanging years ago.

so cute.
I wish I could wear skirt comfortably. I always have to wear shorts underneath.

Thanks ladies! I'm still a newb to sewing but omgosh these were pretty easy. I made the hostess apron as a practice for the skirt but I don't have any pics of that. It's really cute and very retro in a cherry print on black background :)

The skirt is super comfy (but it got cold here again the night I finished it of course). It is cotton twill from Joanns, good thing I had a coupon because this thing ate 5 yards!

My mom loves her headband. She had knee replacement surgery and I dropped it off the night before to help with her "recovery hair" :giggle2:

i really like the skirt. i've never really attempted clothes for me...i'm afraid of the fit and how much fabric it would take! :giggle:

That's what's awesome about the wrap skirt, no tailoring ;)
