I got an avon catalog for fun and saw there is a new bug spray with Picaridin in it. It says in a big "sticker" that is is risk free. Then on the container I can read that is says to keep away from children! Is this a good product? Anyone know?

Picaridin is supposedly non-irritating to the skin, and practically odorless. It has to be applied more often than DEET, and shouldn't be used on infants. DH and I used this when we traveled out of the country when it first came out on the international market a few years ago, we didn't get tick bites so I guess it worked ok:)

Coming from an Avon rep, I think the sticker means that your purchase is risk free, as you can return it for a full refund if you are not satisfied.
That being said, I like the spray with the Pic in it, but the kids LOVE the insect repellant/sunscreen in one lotion. It's blue lotion that disappears into the skin...the kids get a real kick out of it!
