So today has been our first hot day that Kyla has played outside...we went for a walk and then she played outside for a half hour or so, we were out of the house for an hour or so probably. I changed her right before we went out into a fitted and wool capris. When I brought her inside, I took her capris and diaper off and she had a heat rash on her bum! And it seemed to be bugging her also. She was whining a bit. Right now I have her in just a pair of panties to get some air to it, and she didn't want to be naked, lol.
What I am wondering is if there is anything I can do to prevent more rashes like that? I am going to start using powder on her every morning and night and obviously keep her bum free as much as I can as well as changing her often, is there anything else? Any diapers that might work better than others? She is 20 months old tomorrow.
