I'd use a really pretty ring sling, like a Oopa silk.

I think a fancy ring sling or a fancy MT would work beautifully :goodvibes:

I have a fancy-looking brocade mei tai that I have worn to temple before when dressed up. I got tons of compliments! As long as it compliments what you are wearing, it doesn't really matter what type of carrier you use! :)

I would say a pouch just b/c i think they are simpler looking.

I'm going to be a bridesmaid on sunday so I made a ring sling to match my dress, it was very simple using Jan at sleeping baby's instructions for the shoulder.

thank you, the dress is solid red, I brought the sash to the store when I bought the material, so the ring sling complements it beautifully.

I have worn (and made) several ring slings for weddings and special occasions - including one mama bridesmaid who wore her sweetie all during the ceremony. Usually, if you try to match your sling to your outfit or go with a classic black it will look great. If you are interested, I would be happy to make one for you-LMK if you are interested and we can discuss fabrics and prices.

I agree that a plane black or somthing that compliments your dress would be great!

I was a bridesmaid last summer 6 weeks post partum and I made a sling to match my dress. When I was wearing my son, no one could even tell I had it on because it was the same color as my dress. I got so many compliments and double takes (because no one was expecting a baby in there!). My husband even joined in and matched his tie to the sling, since he was going to be wearing him during the ceremony. It was great! :)

I would definately go with something brocade. I have a white butterfly brocade MT I made that I always wear just because it is so pretty.

Personally I prefer the look of a simple dupioni silk ring sling. :)

I wore a silk one to a wedding in March. It was a Sakura Bloom

Those slings make even my big Hazel feel featherweight!!

I think this one would look awesome for a wedding:
