I need a carrier to use at the water park for a 6 month old. I DO NOT want a ring sling. Is there a wrap out there that is good to use in the water?

I have been looking too.

There are Gypsy Mama wraps (I think that is the name of it). Sometimes you can find one on TBW FSOT forums. Just Google water baby carriers or something similar.

I have been wanting a Mei Tai. I just don't want to pay $60 for something I will use only a few times. I bought some gauzy material today to try. If nothing else, it will be a light weight wrap. If you find something good and cheap let me know! I need something too!

Maybe a wrap made out of swimsuit material? You would have to put in on really tight because of the stretch and probably readjust once you got it wet, but I would think it would work?

I have a solarveil RS I use now for showers, but when we took dd to the waterpark at about 3 mo, I just used some cheap gauzy fabric I cut in half to be 20" wide or so and used it as a wrap (FWCC). It worked pretty well, but isnt so either for frequent in/out. I bought my fabric for $1/yd at walmart.. on the way to the waterpark:thumbsup:

I have a solarveil RS, but if you don't want that then this would be good. The solarveil is awesome!
