Hotslings at Target!!

My Target is now carrying Hotslings - I was so shocked! They only had two prints but they were only $39.95 which I think is a really good price.

YAY!! I'm so glad!! But I swear, they get everything I've had to buy online like as soon as I don't use em anymore! It happened with Bumbo's, then Soothies and now Hotslings!? :cry:

OMG! Just a couple of weeks ago I was at Target and a worker in the baby section asked me where I got my Hotsling! She wanted to know all about it and then asked me if Target sells them. I said no, you have to buy them online. LOL! :mrgreen:

I didn't know if all Targets are carrying them or just my store. They recently made the baby section bigger. I live in a pretty crunchy area so it could just be my store. Still very shocking to see.

My new Super Target has four patterns in sizes 2,3,4, and a few 5's. I was so excited because I have been wanting one now I get to try it and don't have to pay shipping if I dont like it! I don't think its at all Target's yet, but It's a start!:goodvibes:

Target is trying them out in 150 stores nationwide and online. They have 4 exclusive prints and will carry 3 sizes (2, 3, 4). They are affordable at $39.95 and come with an instructional dvd!

YAY!! I went to Target today and saw the display!! It's the Rohnert Park, CA store on the list above! :giggle: They also had one of those diaper & wipe organizer that is like the Diapees & Wipees but a bit wider. Anyway, it was a really cute display and you could see people had been opening up packages and stuff. :thumbsup: Try em on ladies!! LOL Anyway, I'm just so happy about it!!

How cool. My Target is on the list. I didn't see them when I was there over the weekend. I'll have to check next time I'm there. People were always asking me where I got my New Native. Now they can get a pocket sling w/o ordering it online. That's awesome.

I carry my 20 1/2 lb 17 mo around in mine and I feel like I still have at least a few pounds left with her. No pain yet. I think they go up to 35 lbs but I can't imagine carrying my 4 yo in one.

Yeah, Target is definitely getting crunchier! I'm seeing more organics in ours, more nursing bras, and some California Baby and Burt's Bees. I like it!

Hotslings have come a long way. I think I was one of the first customers. I got a plain white one and tye dyed it myself... I need to get it back from my cousin. She didn't even have tags back then (three years ago) I just got my third one in the mail Saturday. I saw them this weekend in a boutique in Placerville, CA and was showing DH the one I had coming to me in the mail and the great deal I got on it. I'm glad they are not at my Target I'd have to buy them.

I saw them at mine yesterday. I have mixed emotions about it. On one hand I am super happy that more people will experience the joys and benefits of baby wearing, but on the other hand I feel sorry for the independent mamas who sell them. I know some mamas here who have been trying very hard to make a go at selling hotslings for the past 2 years. Now, there is no way they can compete with big market prices and selection. KWIM?
