Solerveil vs. solerweave

I am going to buy fabric to make a summer mai tei. Which fabric do you all prefer? DO you like the texture of the solerveil?

Solarveil has more grip and stretch than solarweave. To soften it up wash and dry it a few times.

I've never actually used a mei tai made out of either, so my experiences are limited. I have felt both though and solarweave is definitely softer and I would probrably choose it over solarveil. I actually cant stand solarveil as I find it so scratchy. But the pp is right though, solarveil is grippier, so thats something to consider.
