I need to buy about a dozen slings for a support group I am working with. All of the Moms are at risk for post partum depression and I recommended we buy them slings. As long as I find a good one, my company is willing to buy them. These are young'ish moms, they don't want to stand out from their peers at all, and I need a carrier that is easy to use and inexpensive. I have a ring sling that I really like, but the vendor is no longer making them. I was wondering if anyone has a Lite on the Shoulder Baby Sling (slingcarrier.com), one from babymoonslings, or a sweet peas ring sling. Let me know if you like any of these or if you have any other suggestions- Thanks for your help.

I don't have any experience, but they are having a slingling coop below in the coops section.....they have a high rating on diaper pin and they are pretty inexpensive. But like I said I have never tried those or any of the brands you asked about. Good luck and what a great thing you're doing!

Def. go w/ ring slings, as they are easily adjustable and fit a variety of sizes. I love the slings I've gotten from www.sleepingbaby.net
Jan does amazing work, and she offers select fabrics for a discount to moms who can't afford a pricier sling. I don't know if she offers group discounts, but you could email her and ask!

I would suggest a new native pouch. they are super easy to put on and since there is very little adjusting its fool proof. They are fairly inexpensive and work well. And since they only really have plain jane colors, they won't stand out too much. Then if they decide the love it or would like a more custom fit, then they can go with the ring slings or wraps. I am a young mother, (2nd time around :)) and with my first I never really wore him except in the snuggli carrier. But this time I got a new native from my lactation consultant and have now turned into a baby wearing freak with wraps and MT's. just my :2cents:
