The way that I suggest to wrap a newborn is the front wrap cross carry (http://www.mamatoto.org/Default.aspx?tabid=180). It's the one at the top. Once you have the "X" spread across baby and baby's back, you pull the "cumberbund" part that is around your waist, up over baby. So basically, baby is in three layers and protected and snug :) HTH!

I agree with the PP. My little man loves this carry and is normally asleep within minutes after wrapping him. GL mama.

This method of wrapping rocks for teeny ones! (front wrap cross)
Just be prepared for your LO to be roasty toasty from being so close to you! I will usually put my Izzy in the wrap in just a dipe otherwise she gets waaaaay overheated!
