WOO-HOO!!

Congrats mama! It's a good day! I can't wait for my little one to say it, but she's only 9 months. I waited 4 1/2 years to hear my older DD say mama. It's a great feeling!

Aww how sweet!
Mason was babbling 'mama' a few wks ago w/o really realizing what it means LOL but therefore I heard it nonstop, at least for a few days. Then he moved on to gaga and baba etc. He still hasn't said 'dada' yet though, much to my DH's disappointment. :p

my son said mamamama and then dadadada for a long time - then all of a sudden he realized that it was ME! So he says Momom now. :) Then just a couple of weeks ago, he started saying HEY! When he sees someone he wants to say hi to. He gets SUCH a laughing reaction from everybody, I don't think he'll be moving to "hi" anytime soon. :)

Congrats on your girl saying Mama!! It's one of the best words around (for the first few months LOL)

Congrats!!!

Maggie babbled mama back in December/January for a couple of weeks...then moved on to dada babbling and has done that ever since. Even at daycare they try to get her to mama and she'll just smile at them and say "dada" instead. This evening though she did my heart some good... she threw in some mamas and moms in her babbling. :D
