No Drama please, I just need help here.
I ordered some custom items ($65 worth) on near the end of May, I paid immediately.
The current turn around time was stated as 3 weeks
I hadn't heard anything from the WAHM since I paid so I emailed her asking how the order was coming along (June 23rd or so) she stated that she was having some personal issues but it should just be a few more days......
no biggie, I told her I was sorry to hear of her troubles and hope she gets back on track soon.....
Anyway, that was 2 weeks ago, and I haven't received a shipping notification or anything. It bothers me that the communication is so poor, I would feel much better if she would drop me a quick email to let me know how the order is coming along, kwim?
Anyway, another 2 weeks has past, and I haven't gotten an update. I just don't want to go past my filing stuff with paypal and lose my money.
I have never ordered from this wahm before, but she is well known, however, I believe that her and her husband used to work together on items, and now are going through a sudden divorce, so I really can understand if that is what is happening, but I am just a bit paranoid, I mean $65 is a lot of money.
I was thinking maybe I could email her and ask for a refund until she is ready to ship my items I have never been in this type of situation with a custom order so I really don't know how to proceed. And I don't want bad feelings, or to get shabby quality because I am pushing the issues, you know? But I want to protect myself since it has been double the set time and I think I only have 45 days to file with PP. And in all honesty, I probably can't even file now since it has been just over 6 weeks since I paid for this custom order....
What do you guys think I should do?

So, I emailed her, she is apparantly NOT well at all. Her husband has taken over the business for the time being, and she *thinks* that my items have been shipped. I told her that I am going to go ahead and file a claim, but that I will close it when the items turn up. She said that she would refund me right now, but she doesn't even have grocery money.
So I am off to file, not that it is going to do me much good, as it sounds like there is zero money.....but it's the only thing I can do.
Thanks for your help ladies
