Warning about First Years Massaging Teether

My son got this as a gift for Christmas and it was kept in the package until we opened it a couple months ago. This past weekend, I was cleaning up toys and I noticed that the rubber star is cracked, peeling and the vibrator inside is exposed.

I have emailed The First Years and they want me to send this back at my OWN expense (from Canada, would be like $7 to ship) and then they will "inspect" it and maybe replace it. I can't be bothered to spend $7 to ship something that is only worth $9, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up to inspect yours closely if you have one.

My son doesn't even have teeth yet, I am just glad that I noticed this before he had teeth and bit a chunk of the rubber off, or worse- if he gummed right into the vibrator.

They did have a recall on those not too long ago, don't remember why

Thanks for the heads up! We have one as well, even though London is to big to "teeth" on it, he still plays with it.

I'm going to go dig mine out and check it.
