Today is the first day I will get to see *baby*. I'm 23 weeks along and have a level 2 u/s . Im getting pretty excited and just had to tell someone lol.
The only other u/s we have had is the one i had at 12 weeks when i went in for spotting , we weren't able to see the screen , no pictures or anything, this is the longest I have ever went with out getting a good peek at baby !!!
My dr's office makes a big statement about how their u/s's are for medical reasons not for gender determination so im hoping thats just stated so that you don't try to get them to do one for gender !!! i'll go nuts if we don't find out what this little one is today lol
anyway , i was measuring 2 weeks ahead of what the er said my due date was so we'll find out more today , i m thinking it was just inaccuracy of a measuring tape lol
i have 2 teen girls, and 3 sons, one who is 12, 2, and 1 so today we'll find out if its a even or if the boys take the total lead ,
o k enough babbling from me, just had to write before i exploded lol

Good luck on finding out the sex! I totally feel for you for not getting to see the baby. My midwife will only do the 20 week U/S so I haven't seen this kidlet yet and I'm going crazy!

Thank you ladies : )your well wishes did me good :) i had a GREAT u/s ! the tech was just wonderful so down to earth , took her time and showed everything asked if we had any questions and gave us lots of pics :)

she said he's got a " fat belly " and asked if i have big babies and i told her my smallest was 8lbs 5 oz and she said this one wouold be big to , he weighed 1 lb 9 oz at 23 weeks ????

Aww cute !!! I get my first U/S next week on the 5th and will be 22 weeks and a few day's , but we won't be finding out the sex till birth !

That is about as clear as our DS's US pic.... Ohh and at 22 weeks our DS was estimated at 1 lb 8 oz...so we both can have big babies together.

yay!!! yeah sometimes when you are super nice the u/s techs let you see extra :goodvibes: My OB wasnt going to let me get another u/s after they couldnt find the sex- "wasnt medically ness." either- but we went to a 3D place. Im glad yours was able to clearly, LOL, see.
