LOL!!! They just keep coming! I have no suggestions as I had to finally resort to setting off foggers in my house. I put it off as long as I could but the cockroach that I almost stepped on in the middle of the night was the last straw.

Yeah, sadly roaches don't respond to kind treatment. I love natural cleaning stuff, but I draw the line when bugs come into the house! I just make sure the kids and pets are out of the house for the whole day when we have the bug guy come. Now I have never had to deal with roaches, but ants are the enemy here. Luckily we have been able to control them with outdoors spraying only, but if they were to come inside, I wouldn't hesitate to have the bug man come and spray inside. I would say get a pro though, esp with roaches, they can be resillient little buggers!!

Yup, those buggers keep comin back, my cat doesnt scare them away. We have to have a bug guy come in every 3 mths or so, to place this brown/white gel stuff in the cupboards and everywhere else to try to keep them away.

Unfortunetly in my building, there are a lot of immigrants and feel living with these little buggers is normal, so most if the time their overly infested apt leaks into mine EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

The exterminater says next one I complain about I have to pack all my stuff and get out for the day so they can fog, ugh!!! SO annoying and not to mention gross, I hate them!! (the cockroaches that is)

Even foggers are not great... They only kill the adults, but adults leave loads of eggs behind which hatch and then you have roaches again, likely before you realize it they are old enough to lay their own eggs.... Very hard to get rid of. A pest control company is the best way to go for roaches. We are very anti-chemical as well, but if I had roaches, I would call a bug man (Well, my dh actually is the bug man )
If you do call the bug man, resist tempatation to squash any roaches you see or spray raid, etc. on top of what they spray. If you squash the bugs it doesn't let them take the bait to their home...... and if you spray another chemical it can nuetralize them both

Oh yeah, one more thing I've picked up (listening to dh's stories...) there are lots of different kinds of roaches. Some are really worse than others... I think oriental are the worse kind :yuck: If I had those, my dh would come home from work NOW and fix them.... (they are the nastiest, most disgusting roaches as they frequent sewer/septic systems.....) .. Okay.. making my pregnant self more quesy here..... gotta stop that :goodvibes:

We used the traps from Walmart one time. I just put them in places that there was no way the kids could get them. No more buggies. However, I also saw the exterminator around at about that time, but he didn't come into our apartment. So I don't know what got rid of the exactly. I wouldn't wait around though. I'm really not sure that there are any natural remedies for them.

Oh when I said traps I meant baits. The look sort of like traps but they have bait in them that the roaches take back to the nests. Yuck, yuck, yuck!

you should call someone to come check out your place and see if you even have them. If you only had one it could have been a lost wood roach. We had two roaches in our houses and I was so freaked out but it ended up being a wood roach. They don't like being in your house and can't survive and won't breed in your house. They are just lost. If you do have roaches they will most likely be living under your sinks cuz they like moisture. Don't leave food out and don't leave any water in your sink at night(like in dishes). If your place is clean and doesn't have standing water they might leave. Foggers don't work you need some sort of bait poison cuz roaches are cannibals and once one is poisoned then another roach will eat it and also get poisoned. The roach poop is eaten by the baby roaches and kills them too.

There is a natural bait that is baking soda and powdered sugar. I will try to find it in a minute

Good luck hope it isn't an infestation.
