With all these crazy recalls and an 8 month old and 4 yr old who still puts everything in his mouth, I don't want to take any chances.
Where are the best places to buy wooden or cloth toys? I know about Haba and Melissa & Doug (still made in China), but what else? We have a ton of puzzles and playsilks and wooden block sets, so I'm looking for some other things.
What do you know? Share your info with me mommas! :goodvibes:

Plan toys aren't made in Europe. try selecta and bajo.
I make waldorf inspired toys crocheted from 100% wool or 100% cotton yarn, stuffed with wool or cotton fabric scraps. I make stuffed toys (animals or dolls), tea sets, crocheted wool food, teethers, and pretty much anything else you can think of that is crocheted. And I am always up for a challenge.
My sister, shortcake2386 on DS, makes superman capes, dolls, doll slings, felt food, playsilks, and pretty much anything that can be sewn.
Gosh.... you mama's are all so talented!! I'm lucky if I can sew a button back on  My dh is the one who knits in our family... he's knitting a blanket for our littlest one.

I *believe* Plan Toys are made in Thailand.
I get my wooden toys from Tiny Bird Organics & Natural baby catalog
Here are the links:
