Seems like a fun idea...does anybody know if they work? Are they comfy?

I used a "like" product from a WAHM, it's only stretchy cotton sewed in a circle, soooo much cheaper with soooo many more colors available. They worked the best at hiding that gap between the giant belly and your pants. More modest. I also used them in that time when you are too big for normal pants but too little for maternity. I would unbutton and unzip my pants and use the band to cover the open part. No one was wise to me.

Do you by chance know the WAHM?

I got them off of eBay from Australia (she had the best deal even with the shipping)

I think four for $38 with shipping is pretty good considering BabyCenter sells them for $26 each! Before shipping! And this mom has 23 colors as opposed to like, 5.

just type in "maternity bands" in eBay for your choices or I'd bet someone here could make some for you.

You might want to try the Belly Hugger from Granola Babies. http://www.granolababies.com They are pretty much the same thing as the BellaBands and much cheaper. Besides, Granola Babies has great customer service!

Yeah, I've done that too. LOL Most of my pants actually fit OK still, they're low-rise and the belly just sticks out above them. LMBO I'm just finding my shirts getting a bit short so I'm "popping out" over the waistband...with stretchmarks from two pregnancies, it's not a pretty sight. :giggle:

I think these can be used when nursing too so your tummy doesn't have to be exposed while you lift your shirt!

Ha, I'm going to buy some to use now (not pg), I wear low or mid-rise jeans for comfort but then all my shirts end up too short. And I hate it when they show my stretch marks.
