Okay I'm freaking out. DH just pulled a tick full of blood off my back. I read that Lyme disease can be passed through Breastmilk. The ped said it is okay if I'm treated with Antibiotics. I can't start Antibiotics until my doctor opens on Monday I just talked to my doctor and he says I'm overreacting. Anyone have any advice. I'm worried sick!:cry:

I had a high fever for 4 days before I saw the dr. On day 2 we found a rash but didn't connect it to the fever until the next day when it was bigger.
You can't take the first choice antobiotic b/c you'd have to stop bf. You'll take the SECOND strongest drug for 21 days, 4 times per day.
I was worried about transfer but my dr said LD doesn't transfer through tthe milk. He said the antibodies would transfer but DD would need to have been bitten herself to get it.
If you're tested w/o symptoms the test might come back negative.
