I really want to get a pouch for this next baby, so I've been exploring my options. My measurements from shoulder to hip are about 25 in., so that'd be a medium. However, although I've never tried a pouch I've run into lots of situations where I could easily get away with a small. Would this be the case with a pouch? I'm pretty slender (5'8.5", about 135-140 when not pregnant). Any suggestions? I don't want to end up getting the wrong size, and I don't have any "try before you buy" options around here.

Is there a certain brand you're looking to buy? Most sellers allow you to email them w/ sizing questions before you buy.
Have you used the size calculator at Hotslings? http://www.hotslings.com/s.nl/it.I/id.11/.f

I'm hoping for a Lucky Baby or something similar. I don't really want a Hotsling but that sizing chart is a TON more detailed! Are most pouches similar in size? Because according to their chart I'd be a small.

25" sounds like it would be too big according to your height and weight.. If your only choice is small or medium, and not specific inches, I'd go with the small, but yeah, it might be a good idea to email them and ask. I'm not sure how many inches their small is.
