Hi :)

I was wondering if I could get some feedback on how people find these fit their little ones.

I'm in Canada and they just started selling ones that say they are rated to 65lbs forward facing, previously they were labelled 48lbs. Now apparently they are the same car seat (I'm trying to get hold of the company to confirm it myself) as the box is even labelled Radian65. However, the 'Canadian Version' of the instructions has different numbers in it :)

Anyways, as a result, the ones labelled 48lbs are on sale :lostit:

Anyways, it doesn't look like the spots for the harness go super high in the back. My little one is around 30", rear facing and using the 3rd to top set of holes, if she was forward, it would have to be the second to top set. Anyways, I guess it doesn't seem super tall for being rated to such a high weight. Does it fit that long? Maybe it is just because my 9 1/2 month old is real long for her age right now and has been growing so fast I don't have a real perspective on how long they take to grow that much longer :)

sorry for the drawn out commentary :) Anyways, I'd love feed back on the fit of your little one in the seat :D

Here's what I know about the US seat. It's got high harness slots...higher than the Britax convertibles. Also, because of it's steel frame, Sunshine Kids says that you can use it even when the child's shoulders are above the top slots (provided the top of their ears are still below the top of the seat), which is not something you can do with ANY other seat.

We have 2 Marathons & a Radian 65. I prefer the Radian. My oldest sits in it. He has more room to grow in it than in his Marathon, and he's more comfortable sitting in it because it's not up on a big base.
