New from the Bay area, Ca

Hello all!

Not only am I new to this site, but new to CDing as well.

Baby #2 is due soon, and CDs just seem like the best way to go this time.

I had NO idea there was so many options available for parents who chose this route! I thought it was all about those gerber diapers and pins...lol so I have a lot to learn- and admittedly It's a tad overwhelming for my poor pregnant brain!

My current strategy is to get several differnt styles and see what works best for us, but I am SO open to suggestions!

Im my current research, Im trying to figure out why everyone wouldnt want to use AIO's! It seems so easy!

anyhoo there's my intro ..oh yes..probably should mention my son is 3.5, and Im 30 weeks along with the strapping little lad smiling in my avatar :yay:

No I havn't. Lol. me finally joining a CD forum is my version of "getting stuff together" Lol. Work has kept me busy, but now that B-day is nearing Im going into "Oh crap" mode and really trying to figure out whats the best way to go.

I keep seeing things/deals thinking I should jump on them, but then I think Im so new to this what if Im buying a bad brand, they leak, or they run too big/small, or they're way too bulky.... :sigh: :dunno: Im lost. That's what brings me here. I'm a paranoid purchaser. Lol I know I'm just going to have to jump in and learn by trial & error, but I know with eveyones experience I'll have a better chance of chosing the best stuff :thumbsup:

Welcome! I'm from the Bay Area, too. We started CD when DD was 3m. I've given a CD wksp before, if you'd like to see some things up close (tho mostly WAHM. I'm not a huge fan of commercial dipes, but have a few things for you to see.) LMK if I can help. It's a LOT of info. to wade thru on your own, but you'll see most of us actually ENJOY changing our kids' poopy diapers now.

Hi, I'm from the bay area too (west contra costa). I am hoping to start a real diaper circle sometime soon.
Even though I cloth diapered my son 8 years ago, this time I was overwhelmed with all of the new products that are available.
