Does anyone know if any WAHM on here makes dolls? Specifically mermaid dolls? DD wants a mermaid doll for Christmas and I have found these http://www.blueberryforest.com/kathe_kruse/kathe_kruse_sea_fairy_mermaid.htm but they are a little pricier than we were hoping to spend. I thought maybe someone on here might make dolls and possibly might know how to make a mermaid outfit as well.

Can I say that we bought that doll (actually the more expensive one with the crown :blush: ) and I have to say that we LOVE it!! It is super great quality and has lasted really well. If you have the ambition there is a really wonderful kit made by www.weirdolls.com They are beautiful and easy to make!!:goodvibes:

I am sure dd would love that mermaid but $34 for a 7 inch doll is just too pricy. I did end up ordering a waldorf kit and will make her one myself for Christmas. Hopefully it isn't too difficult to make though. We're about to go to Disney World for a week and when we get back I will only have 2 weeks to make it before we start the rounds of Christmas.
