Here's a few things I have for ds' stocking

bubble bath (he's out...I would have bought it anyway, but hey...I'm cheap!)
His own cooking supplies (an apron wrapped around a wooden spoon, a spatula, a wisk, and some other dollar store stuff!)

and pretty much the things you mentioned!

Santa always brings cute new underwear for everyone at my house.

Oops, I just saw she is only 2. Ok maybe cute undies if she is showing PT signs, or a cute new diaper for her or a doll.

Maybe one or two of those wooden vehicles from Target, or a wooden animal to start a collection.

A small Beatrix Potter book or a sweet bedtime book would be nice (look into the Pigeon books if you haven't already- they're hilarious!).

A little box of band-aids for her to stick all over everything.

A little flashlight with her name on it in paint pen.

A personalized sippy cup.

I got my 2.5 yr old one of those candy canes filled with M&M's :hide: Hey, it's Christmas and it was 99 cents. LOL And, other things (that she picked out). I just browsed the knick knack Christmas isle at Target and she picked what she wanted. hehe

My 3 year old DD is getting some organic toys, playsilks, some fruit, a candy cane thing of M&Ms (she loves chocolate and a little candy never killed anyone...:giggle:), some craft stuff like crayons and etc, and anything else I see while I'm at the store or online. If it doesn't fit in the stocking then it gets wrapped with something else since most of this stuff is small. KWIM? I'm sure I forgot something on this list as well, but oh well.

OH YEAH! I am getting each child a SIGG and maybe a KK too for their stocking. :)

Finger puppets, an orange (family tradition), a little knickknack box, probably the m&m candy cane other folks have mentioned, a new toothbrush & toothpaste. . .
dunno what else.

All mine are recieving foogo thermos from Target, cheaper than kk or sigg. Also a book, crayons, a homemade dollie and blanket from me, silverware, and toothbrush and some cheap bath stuff like tub tints or crayons. We usually do hair stuff or small jewelry for DD. Can't think of any other ideas for you:) I usually browse Targets $1 aisle and such for last minute stuffers!

I take $15 to the $1 store or Dollar General. With my $15 I'm always able to get cute stocking stuffers for both my toddlers. And if this yr we spend the hoildays with my family vs DH's again, I'll be taking $30 to the dollar store for all the stocking stuffers (my fam does stockings, DH's does not).

For me at least, if one item costs more than $5, I wrap it up and stick it under the tree vs stuffing it in a stocking :giggle:

For my family I do $1 lottery scratchers in addition to the $1 finds for stockings. It's always fun to see everyone sitting there with a coin in hand hoping to make it big. I started this last year and will be doing it again as it was so much fun! My grandpa got $10 on his and everyone else was a bust... but it was fun to see everyone tease grandpa about what he was going to buy for everyone else with his $10 lol

How about a Sam & Bellie Chalkmat.
It's so cute, rolls up, you can take it when you go to restaurants and such or just at home. Then you can get colored holiday chalk to add to it :)
Oh! or the Baby Leo Blanket capes. They're blankets that can be used as a cape, kids love it! it has a snap button on the front to keep as a cape... so so cute!
Or Babylegs Leg Warmers, they come in great prints.
Or a Zoolids Helmet cover... they're cute, fun and promote safety :)
You can search them on littledudesanddivas.com and use the coupon code DS10 for 10% off $50 or more.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions :)
I know the holidays are hard and I'd love to help sort out some chaos :)

Maybe a fun electric toothbrush if she's old enough? I'm giving my son one so hopefully he'll think it's cool and we won't have to wrestle him to get his teeth brushed.

Also an I-Spy bag.

my kiddos get:

- 2 fruits (1 is always an orange, except for dd#1 - she hates them cause she cant stand pulp)
- new toothbrush
- candy cane
- "hair pretties" for the girls
- new sippy for my ds
- a couple of small books or other $1 toys

the always get to open these first... and have to eat the fruit (to have at least SOMETHING good to start the day!) before going on to tree presents (this also gives all adults to wake up, get coffee, etc)
