DS is getting lot of things he can bang.

An activity table, hammer, ball popper (DD loved that when she was little), clothes, shape sorter, phone, things like that. I bought everything on sale and am checking the sale papers weekly incase I can get stuff even cheaper.

He's also getting a pillow and blanket set and soft book that I made. (And probably some new diapers since he's out growing his.)

dd loves anything she can open/close, push/pull or bang together:giggle: if you dont have one a push toy or stacker would be a great idea

Maracas, drums. ride on toys (rocker or such), pull toys. Agree with pp, anything that can be banged on, opened/closed, stacked and knocked over, balls, playdoh (home made is best so if she eats it, you're okay), chunky puzzles, big cars / trucks to push around, leap frog fridge letters, learning puppy (DS LOVES LOVES his), GOOD LUCK. Try babycenter.com they have some cute stuff in their store.
