I'm due July 15th with my 2nd. I'm hoping it's not too hot up here, usually August is the hottest month where I live.

Ooh, my birthday :goodvibes:

I am actually due August 16th but this one may well be a July baby as DS was a 36 weeker. I am not looking forward to the heat but at least we have wonderful AC and a huge lagoon pool in our condos... Though whether I will want to bare it all in a swimsuit is another question altogether lol :yuck:

Are you close to the Farm? Would they do a vbac?

I am about an hour or so away. I haven't not personally contacted them, but only because when I was talking to the " vandy midwives" I asked them about the farm and the catch is that in the state of TN midwives have to have a consulting physician and physicians won't sign off on a vba2c for our states insurance reasons they will do one, ( which my OB with #2 failed to tell me actually told me from the begining" there is NO possible way to have a vbac" me being " uneducated",nervous about the pregnancy(1st preg was a little rough and I was 19) I just didn't question it, ) but needless to say I no longer see that doctor for a couple of reasons.

And my other concern with the farm being an hour away, luckily from the native american women in my family we have very fast and nearly painless labors....which is a good thing BUT....my worry is that by the time I noticed I was in labor ( eg. Began to feel contractions) it would be to late and we wouldn't make it. With #1 & #2 sat un-aware anything was going on with contractions off the chart 2-3min apart and dialateded to 5 with one and 8 with the other....all waiting for my c section.. But I may call them just so I could hear their policy from them and weigh those options..

ME!

I'm due the 16th with baby #3. I had a September baby first, so I vividly remember that AWFUL summer when it was crazy hot my entire last trimester. At least with this one, I'll be done about half way through. :) But, then I have to keep a newborn out of the sun and heat...a new problem. :)

We just started telling friends and family, so now I'm free to publicly be excited!

I would call and see what they say. If you are open to an "illegal" midwife they may be ablt to point you in the right direction.

I am attempting a HBA2C this time around. The only legal midwife I can could find can't do the VBAC part because of her back-up OB but she was able to give me names and numbers of others who could but just weren't legal for IL.

Worth a short if you are wanting to try.:goodvibes: :hugs:

I had an appt & u/s today. Everything looks good and baby was flipping, kicking , and wigglin all over the place. My OB does a quick u/s at every visit and he starts trying to tell the sex at 12 weeks so since I am 12 weeks now he tried to see. The baby wasn't being cooperative so he said he thinks girl but he's not sure. I'll go back on Valentine's day and probably find out for sure.

Well, I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks because I started bleeding.

Then a follow up Ultrasound at 8 weeks and we saw the itty bitty heartbeat

And, I have my "big" US (or one of them anyway) in 2 weeks. We are moving out of state Feb 2nd so my OB wanted to make sure everything is still going smoothly before we head out. I'll only be 14ish weeks though, but I'm still super excited.

I love ultrasounds!!!

I love u/s too!!

I had my first one with this preg. At 8 weeks because I hadn't had an AF since sept 2005 ( when I became preg with DS) lol yeah breastfeeding so they wanted to check my dates, in the U/S they found 2 gestations but one was measuring a week and a day behind the other( I was 8 weeks ) they talked to me about " vanishing twin syndrome" and all that and we get to wait and see on my next u/s..:)

We initially had planned to let the sex of this baby be a surprise, but in light of the " twin possibility" we are more anxious than ever to know.

And the 11th can't come fast enough lol..my sis gets her first ultrasound the 23rd of Jan, to check size and dates, she's atleast 13 weeks along so I think they might be able to tell the sex... but if they can't she'll go again at about 19/20 weeks

I'm new here and I'm due July 9th. This is our first and we're both very excited! We had been trying for more than 2 years. We've actually had 3 u/s already. With at least one more coming up within the next few weeks. We don't want to know what we're having tho. So I'll be scheduling that u/s when i get the script from my OB on Tuesday.

Im due July 28th but hoping to be late and deliver anytime in aug :giggle2: . This is number 5 for me and I already have a July 9th baby and a July 22nd baby. I always go early though so I think we will have three July b days.

I just met for the first time our midwifes for the homebirth and I love them. I cant wait to find out if its a boy or girl :) Im hoping for another girl but of course will love another little boy too :giggle2:

I am due on July 8th but baby will come on or before the 1st (I am high risk and they have to take my babies early because they like to just stop growing near the end). This is my 3rd summer baby and while I am not thrilled it'll be nothign comp[ared to my August 28th and September 4th babies. Now those were LONG summers!!

I had a 10 week ultrasound just to check on bean, another at like 13 when I was in the hospital, a follow up one on the 14th because they couldn't find the heartbeat. Now I am about to schedule the big one. I get to chose any dates between the 7th and 15th.

I know exactly what you mean. I have started to stop making the "normal" and have been making more spagetti, nachos, backed potatoes etc. I have been really craving eggplant parmisian and I cant make it  and dh hates eggplant :( My mom said she would take me out for it but she keeps forgetting. I just want fruits and veggies it is soooo wierd. Today we were having spagetti alfredo with chicken and I gave all my chicken to the kiddos it was turning my stomach like mad.

I have been craving spaghetti like crazy. It makes hubby happy as he could eat carbs all day for every meal. Its not really even the noodles I want its the meat sauce, made with ground turkey. We're due the 29th but I'm pretty sure we'll have an August baby. I still get sick with smells and eating is difficult because I have a really weak gag reflex.

Oh! I've been here for a bit, and just found this thread, hehe.

I'm due with my first on July 23rd. I've already started my stash :D

I had one U/S at 11 weeks, and will have another around March 14th. (DH's b-day, would like it to be extra special!) I don't care what we have, as long as it's healthy.

I'm mostly over my MS, but still have food aversions. The only chicken I can eat is fried, and only if it's in a fast food sandwich :P so I've been eating a ton of spaghetti.

Curious question. Ive had 2 dc already in July and now a third due in July but this is my first HB. How was having a HB in the heat?? I was at a hospital for the other 2 so I had nice air conditioning. Were you able to handle the heat? I woke up in labor just before 1 am, and DD was born just before 3 am so it was nice to labor and birth in the middle of the night. We had the birth tub set up in our family room which is downstairs, so it didn't seem too hot at all. The birth tub ended up feeling a bit too warm and I had DH add some cold water and but some cold washcloths on my forehead, but that was just a labor thing I think.

My DS was born in a hospital, beginning of September in southeast GA, just above the FL line, and it was hot then too. I was really grateful for the air conditioning then.

Yeah, that's what we heard before we moved here. I just wasn't expecting it to get up in the mid-90s. That's normally not that bad (I loved living in Charleston, and it got really hot and humid there) but the lack of air conditioning made it bad here. The house we were in at the time had no trees in the yard and it would just bake in the sun, it was unbearable inside. When DD was 6 days old DH and I took the kids hiking at Mt Rainier just because it felt so much nicer there, a bit cooler. The nights for a week or so after she was born were miserable in the house.

That week set some records for heat.
http://www.climate.washington.edu/events/2006top10.html

For me it's not the heat or the humidity, it's the lack of air conditioning! Luckily we're living in a different house now that has lots of shade, which makes it better in the summer. We have a window unit in the bedroom that helps keep upstairs cool and the family room in the basement always stays nice in the summer. That's where we'll set up the birthing tub this time.

Seattle doesn't get THAT hot! I only live 2 hours north of Seattle, but last August we took a road trip. No offense, but I'm glad I don't live in Missouri!

I am in southern Missouri, only about 25 miles north of AR and due July 14. I am just thankful the baby is due then, because Aug and Sept can be absolutely unbearable with the heat around here. Planning a VBAC!

My u/s is next tuesday. Im shocked that I havent felt the baby really move yet. Normally by now Im feeling it all the time. Mabey it has something to do with my placenta being infront. I occationally think I might have felt something but am not sure :( Hopefully soon.

I think the placenta up front makes you not feel it, I feel mine but it's VERY light, I'm so used to my 40weeker kicking the living daylights out of me at the end of my last pregnancy.
I have my 20 week "big" u/s next tuesday too. :-)

You are not alone mama. I was freaking out because I wasn't feeling bean either. Even early last week barely anything, maybe a little here and there but I wasn't 100%. Then all of a sudden baby is tumbling in there. I am feeling him a lot this week (21 weeks) and can actually find his location sometimes. I'm sure your little one will be moving soon.

I guess it just proves every pregnancy is different. I also never before had a problem with my pants touching my stomach now I cant stand anything slightly pushing on my stomach.

Anyone else having problems hearing? Like literally, DH will say something and I'll be "huh?" "what?" Is there such a thing as pregnancy deafness? And yeah, total memory loss too. Like I forgot to deposit a check in the bank--how could I forget that! :banghead:

Well, we don't know what this one will be, and I'm just crossing my fingers we don't have it on DS's birthday, since they have the same due date. (Aren't we consistent?) But I'm convinced that this child is a boy, so I keep referring to him as him. Anyone else not know via ultrasound, but just Know anyway. With the other two, I was pretty sure, too, so it was no huge surprise when DS came out a he, and when the u/s showed DD was a she.

I love not finding out! I don't really care, either way honestly. I know everyone says, well you must want a girl since we have a boy and what not but I just don't care! I'd be pysched with 4 boys - or 4 girls. We haven't picked names, we never picked a girl's name last time! I had a strong feeling it was a boy the whole time! Everything I bought was blue! This time, I'm not sure - I was thinking girl at first but I'm back to boy again!

My anatomy scan was on 2/14 but the baby was balled up just as tight as could be. The tech was so patient and we even waited an extra 30 mins to see if we could move him/her but no such luck so back we go next week so that they can get the rest of the measurements and so I can find out if it's a boy or girl. I might just explode from having to wait so long!

So we go into tomorrow morning for ours. My DH and I got into a little tiff tonight when he announced he wants to findout the gender, which set me off of course since I'm so dead set against it and he can't keep a secret plus it would annoy the crud out of me if he knew before I did. I *think* we have decided for now that we're not finding out.

In other news, I got on the scale yesterday and saw that I've gained 10 pounds this month. WTF. I have to go on some sort of fast until Friday when I have my monthly prenatal. YIKES.

So many boys this summer. Someone needs to have some girls. Mabey they put something in the water :giggle2:

You know whats really funny I was tempted to ask her "are you sure those are boy parts" :giggle2: I still am in disbelief I was so sure it is a girl for months I have been thinking its a girl and this was such a shocker Im still trying to absorb oh how very wrong I was. Dh is being so sweet. He keeps telling me as soon as this baby is born we can try for our girl :giggle: I think he has lost his mind. It would probably end up being another boy in July:lostit: My mom even said "you know she could be wrong and we'll just wait and see" I think the u/s is pretty obvious but it would be funny if my instinct was right :giggle2: Of course I am happy no matter what just in shock.

I'm VERY VERY nervous because I know I've gained weight this month. And no, not like 2 pounds. More like 10. YIKES. I'm going to get a spanking from my Dr since I had high blood pressure last time and "we" decided it was in my best interest to only gain around 20 this time around. As quite frankly, I'm no skinny minnie to begin with. I feel like I'm taking a final exam that I didn't study for! I'm all nervous....I'm such a loser.... :-(

I didnt gain any weight in my last pregnancy and I still developed Pregnancy Induced Hypertension that lingered about 3 months PP so its not all about the weight...GOOD LUCK!

Our ultrasound was scheduled for Monday. We got to see the head and one hand move and the electricity went out. That stuff doesn't happen in real life! Anyway, apparently the transformer blew a breaker. The office had lights, but no AC or outlets. Totally bizarre. But we went back yesterday and it's a girl! Feels weird though. We didn't find out with DS and I am not really sure what to think about all this. In addition, there is someone at church who was "having a girl" and popped out a boy. This doc is very conservative with that though. He had put a question mark saying he was 96-97% sure it was a girl. She then decided to open her legs up more and he said, "I'm taking that question mark off." I am happy because I wanted a girl, but I also feel a little uneasy and nervous, as I feel very comfortable raising boys. Maybe it hasn't all sunk in yet. I feel bad that I feel weird. Maybe we shouldn't have found out with this one either...Oh well, it is too late now!

well I will be 19 weeks tommorow and dread my prenatal appt on Wed. My MW said she likes to see about a 10lb weight gain by that time and I am lucky if I've made 5lbs. I have never had this problem and gained around 60lbs w/ both my boys and am anxious for the u/s b/c I keep worrying something is wrong w/ the baby.

I started off in my healthy weight range (I was overweight w/ both boys) I eat all the time and I'm talking healthy high fat/protein foods...
Anyone have any comforting advice?? I am showing some, but not a whole lot. I was usually huge by this point w/ my boys (and in maternity clothes) I can wear my normal clothes still. Is this normal??

So I had my appt today at 11am. I work from home so I had to find someone to cover me for the 2 hours I'd be gone. I packed up my son, drove the 30 minutes to the Dr's and they say that she is "out" and they need to reschedule my appt. I was so livid, it's SUCH a pain not to mention a waste of gas that I can't afford to drive an hour for NOTHING. So I asked if there was SOMEONE who can see me, they say sorry, we're booked. Considering that I did HAVE an appt and they only last 5 minutes anyways, I didn't believe it. So I guess I have to wait another month before I find out if I have high blood pressure yet and what my weight gain is.
I'm seriously considering switching to a midwife, that was my first instinct when I found out I was pregnant, after my crummy birth experience with my son. I mean, I'm going to be 21 weeks pregnant and have only had 2 appts - is that normal? The first wasn't really an appt anyways... I won't be seen again until 25/26 weeks. I don't know if I'm supposed to call them to find out the results of the level II ultrasound? I'm just SO ANNOYED right now, I hate being treated like a number...

I have a midwife and see the OB that is covered by my insurance. My midwife who I started seeing after I met the OB has seen me 5 times now. My OB I have met her once yep one time and her nurse once that is 2 times for 5 months. I now officially hate OBs. Im so sry they did that to you. You should def look into another OB or a midwife I  midwifes they are the only way to go for me. Oh and my OB isnt conserned that my BP seems high everytime I am there my midwife well I now am drinking nettle tea 2 times a day and laying on my side as much as I can through out the day (next time she said I get sent home with the cuff if it is still high :() I hope you can find a new midwife or OB soon :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: I highly suggest a midwife :goodvibes:

Michelle, That just stinks! I would be soooo mad! I'm still seeing my OB even though I have a midwife. I'm waiting till after the ultrasound to stop seeing the OB entirely. I just hate going to there anymore. It's so nice to have the midwife come and see me and I can just let DS run around and play like he usually does. I don't have to worry about being on time or anything. I would check and see what options you have as far as a midwife for sure. You may find just what you are looking for! and there is still plenty of time.

I can, I think the walmart near us has one. I'm not sure what they would consider high enough to be a bother, my first visit was high, my second (and last) was OK. I've just been getting these bizarre - tingly/dizzy/headache feelings, like it feels like someone has just shaken my head really hard. It reminds me of when I had REALLY high blood pressure at the end of my last pregnancy - and that I've gained 10 pounds this month without eating any more than usual, honestly, makes me slightly nervous.

I think my next appt is the end of march or beginning of April... So I'm going to have to wait it out. It's frustrating because this is one of the best OBGYN offices around. So many people go here, they are bigger, etc. I don't even think my next appt is even with the Dr, every other one is with the nurse...:headscratch:

I'm going to look into midwives - not sure how easy it will be to switch more than halfway through - we can see!

I know, we had our 20 week u/s on Monday - I don't know the results yet, since they NEVER call you back with results. But I figure the first 20 weeks are tricky, and then the last 20 are kind of easier - no blood work really, etc. I think just the diabetes test and the strep later on? I'm going to call around later asking about midwives...right now I have SO much work to do even though I only missed an hour of work for my non-existent appt... Of course, here I am on diaperswappers...:giggle2:

I have to make money so I can buy cute, monster fleece soakers on Tuesday night!:lostit:

I can, I think the walmart near us has one. I'm not sure what they would consider high enough to be a bother, my first visit was high, my second (and last) was OK. I've just been getting these bizarre - tingly/dizzy/headache feelings, like it feels like someone has just shaken my head really hard. That's crazy! My doc was out of the office for one of my visits and they were so accomodating. They gave me the option of coming back (anytime I wanted, including first thing before they actually opened), seeing another doc or seeing a nurse. Your office should've done something, anything. I'd be ticked off too!

As for how many visits. I seen the nurse at 9 weeks, my doc at 11, 15, 19 and my next visit at 23 (next week). I see the doc every 4 weeks (until 30 then it's every 2 weeks until 36 weeks then weekly until birth) and the nurse if there is any bloodwork, testing or hb checks in between.

We found out yesterday that we are having a boy! My DH is already talking about how many baseball and football games they will go to. I don't think I'll have enough energy to keep up with the two of them.

For the # of visits question - I am 19 w 5 d and have seen my OB at 7 wks, 9wks, 12 wks, 17 wks and just yesterday, 19 wks. I always see my OB, the nurse just does the vitals (BP/weight).

My sister in law did not have a great birth experience with the office - she had hyperemesis caused by a thyroid issue that got worse with pregnancy and felt that they didn't do enough for her, but I have been seeing them for about 4 1/2 yrs and they were so kind and patient with me through my infertility.

They also have two midwives on staff, a male and female, and my favorite one has agreed to be there when I deliver no matter if he is on call or not.

To Finns Mom - being in healthcare myself, I learned that the major thing with ALL healthcare, but esp when you are pregnant, is that you have to speak up and be your own advocate. I sat down at 9 wks and let the OB and MW know what my expectations were for my pre-natal care. Even though I was soooo nervous, it was the best thing ever. After my 1st U/S where the no one informed me I needed to have a full bladder (none of the paperwork stated it either), I had a talk with the office manager as well.

Hopefully you can do something similar, but don't be afraid to switch, it is your body and your baby and you DESERVE to feel safe and comfortable with the people that are treating you. :hugs:

I find out on March 14th, two more weeks!!! I'm so excited. I could find out a little sooner, but we decided to do it on DH's birthday, and make it extra special. He hasn't felt too connected yet, since he hasn't been able to feel the baby move or anything. I hope that helps :D

I'd be happy with a boy or a girl. I've always wanted a girl, but now I want a boy! As long as its healthy, right?

Hmm looks like a lot of boys for july. I'm hoping for another boy, but I definitely wouldn't mind a girl... I told DH we'll go broke if we have a girl..all the girly clothes and diapers are just so cute!:giggle:
I haven't felt the baby too much here.. I think I am expecting those big kicks and pokes like right at the end there with DS. Anyone else find this to be true? I'm about 20 1/2 weeks. How far before you can feel the baby on the outside? I can't even remember with DS.

You would think they would be accomodating, right? I mean I drove 30 minutes, in the freezing cold, with my 16 month old son, leaving work, and they can't see me. The receptionist made it seem like I had just walked in off the street... Sorry, we can't SQUEEZE you in today. Maybe in a week or two. WHAT? I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT! Ugh, they haven't called or anything. RUDE.
It's a moot point now, I've made an appt with a midwife and I'm getting my records transferred today. I'm sure my Dr's office will be mad but what can I do? I think I deserve to be seen more than 5 minutes once every 2 months.... right?

On a different note, my stomach has grown 10 inches in a week. I look HUGE now.... I don't know what happened....:giggle2:

SOO glad to hear you will be getting care sooner rather than later...high blood pressure is scary anytime, but especially when pregnant! As far as what is considered "high" it really depends on what your baseline bp is! If you want to chat about that feel free to PM me! :) Take Care! Hope you LOVE your midwife! :)

Welp this baby didn't want to give it up. It was sitting yoga style. I kept trying to poke and get the baby to move. Finally right there at the end the nurse was like "well, I'm not 100%, but it looks like it might be a girl". Showed us the three lines..:lostit: So I guess..maybe this is a girl. LOL SHe was like, well just keep the receipts. argh! I want to be for sure, but then again I was thinking girl. So if this ends up being a boy, he'll get to wear pink diapers, because I'm tired of waiting! LOL
Oh yeh, and she ended up measuring the baby at 18 weeks and 4 days. I thought I was 20 weeks and 6 days. Two weeks more of waiting than I thought, has anyone had this happen to them?

Have you gotten an US before today? I think the best time to date a pregnancy is earlier on-- like you could be 20 weeks but the measurements could be off by this point. Especially if the baby isn't cooperating, they get hard to pinpoint. Congrats!

They actually tried to move it the other way, earlier but I said NO WAY. I don't want to be pressured into an an induction like last time. I know when this baby was conveived. I was told being off 1-2 weeks by this point was normal anyway. When I was having my son, they said my uterus was bigger a few weeks bigger so they wanted to do a quick u/s to check the babys weight. At 35 weeks his head was measuring that of a 40 weeker! OUCH. But sadly, in the end he was only 8 pounds, so I was just measuring "fat"....oppsie.

Another July momma here. I'm due right in the middle of the month so a July baby for sure!

This is my 3rd and a real shocker as we thought we were done. We have a 16yo ds and a 4yo dd. So this one is the tie breaker. We aren't planning any u/s so we won't find out gender until birth but I'm thinking it's another girl. Right now I'm dying up diapers and snap shirts in tropical gender neutral colors just in case I'm doubly shocked by a boy.

:giggle2: I love looking at liitle oddities like this.. If this baby is a boy all my boys will have been concieved, born in CA and born in the month of July. My eldest dd was born 12 days after my b day and 12 days before her due date (so easy to remember her due date :giggle:) Our anniversary is on June 28th exactly 1 month before this little ones due date (which I still think is a girl. I'm new here - due with a little boy on July 28th.

This is #4 in the house but #2 for me and #3 for my husband. Our first together. :) I hope that makes sense. Our kids are 13, 7 and 5.

Our youngest was born July 22nd (due Aug. 8) so I'm all too familiar with, and not too happy about, being pregnant in July. But I'm investing in a good maternity swimsuit and I'm going to be a beached whale (literally) for the first 1/2 of the summer. :)

Any July moms already got their stash started? I've got a few infant prefolds, and a couple of WWB covers. I've also got a pair of rainbow longies coming too!(I'm excited about that!) I'll probably make a few monster soakers for her too. Pul and supplies to make some VB AIOs are sitting at my work area. (so I'm headed in the right direction..I order those supplies a bout amonth ago..lol I really need to get started!)

I still need to get some smaller pfs and more infant pfs. I'm not sure what else I'll get.

I've got mine started! I hate leaving things to last minute, although that always seems to happen anyway!

My Stash:
Up to 10 lbs: 1 NB Nikky Wool, 3 NB Cot'N Wraps
Up to 14 lbs: 1 SM Nikky Wool, 3 A Biobottoms Wool

Bought but not yet received:
Up to 14 lbs: 2 SM Nikky Wool, 2 A Biobottoms Wool
Up to 18 lbs: 1 B Biobottoms Wool

I probably overbought the up to 14 lbs size range, but I'm sure I'll be so busy that the extras will come in handy. :) As soon as I get the last 5 I'll be trying my hand at lanolizing wool.

I don't have any PFs as of yet - I have a bunch of UBCPF on my registry so I'm hoping I'll get these at my shower. I gotta pick up some snappis too since not all the covers have gussets.

I was supposed to go this Thurs but now I have to wait til Monday because my DH switched days off with his partner this week and then my oldest DS got the flu so I can't get anyone to watch my little guys:yuck: . I have started my stash anyway, I have:

2 doz preemie pf's (leftover from my youngest)
1 doz orange edge NB GMD pf's (just bought new)
1 doz LL flats (just bought new)
2 bummis original NB (new)
2 bummis original SM (new)
2 NB proraps (new)
13 NB nanipoos (from fsot, mostly girly, woops, they were a good deal)
1 cotton nikky nb (fsot)
still waiting on
10 NB nanipoos (new)
2-3 SM nanipoos(new ,I don't remember how many I ordered, oops:blush: )
6 NB Nana's bottoms AIO's (new)

I have to lay off for a while, at least until I sell some stuff, I went a little crazy the last couple weeks.

ETA: I also have 3 dozen white wash cloths to use as dipes like I saw in a thrifty thread and am waiting on 50 Eli's wipee's

I too am due in July with my first- a boy! I am NOT looking forward to sweating it out, I loathe the heat. My mom has now taken the opportunity to tell me how when I was born (also July) it was the hottest day on record and she was in a room laboring with FIVE other women and the a/c was out.

Kinda like one of those "walked five miles to school in the snow" stories. Amazing what tales a mom can hold onto for 37 years and then just whip out. You would think I would have heard about that before.

I started CD when DS was 4 months old so I have had a little gathering to do. Let's see, the "new" stash so far:
2 newborn mutts - my only stalking job!
2 newborn harleyz pocket fitteds from DS
1 mutt one size
1 BG 3.0 my mother bought new when she learned a store in town carried them
2 new wool soakers knit by me
1 pair longies knit by me that are 1/2 completed
Alpaca yarn for another soaker
2 yards of luscious bamboo fleece that I am going to make into either contours or fitteds

The following are left over from the first time:
1 bella bottoms one size fitted
2 cuddlebuns one size fitteds
6 small fuzzis
3 wonderoos one size
1 BG 2.0 w/fleece inner
5 GAD one size inserts new bought from our business
4 small nurtured family microfiber inserts and assorted towels for stuffins

This doesn't count the large and medium fitted and pocket dipes and wool left over that I have held on to.
Still have some shopping to do...

Oh, my stash...lets see.

I went a little crazy when I found out I was having a girl. Plenty of PF, some BSWW, about 10 AIO, and I am sure there is more. A wonderful DS mama sent me some really cool stuff!

Clothing wise this baby girl is all set...went a little crazy at the gap and childrens place. I am a super sale shopper, and I had so much fun! I can't wait until she gets here!

Yikes. I haven't gotten on a scale since my last prenatal visit almost 2 months ago (before obygyn blew me off). I weighed myself yesterday morning in our bathroom, ummmm YIKES. That's all I can say.

Apparently, keeping a 2 pound bag of reese's easter peanut butter cups in your nightstand so your husband doesn't find them and eat them on you, isn't good for your figure. Let's just say, I've already gained what a "normal" person is supposed to gain for the whole 40 weeks. And I'm 22.5 weeks now.
Awesome.

I will go for my almost 21 week appt and big u/s on Mon. I am very excited for the u/s part, not so much for the weighing part. My scale battery died a couple weeks ago so I can't even prepare myself for the worst. I'm really afraid I've gained too much lately and these girl scout cookies aren't helping. Good thing I hid the easter candy from everyone, including myself, lol.

I've had to buy easter candy 3 time since we keep eating it. I hid it in the spare room closet and found myself rifling through the closet at 9:30 last night looking for peanut butter eggs. Clearly I have issues.

I had my first appt with the midwives today - SO much nicer than the ObGyns. They actually took time to listen to me and seemed to care about my feelings and part experience. I'm excited, it was a really nice appointment. Except for the weighing part. Oppsie. Note to self: Remove the 2# bag of jelly beans from nightstand asap.

I'm due with our 8TH on July 17th. This will be my first real SUMMER baby!! (The closest I've had was Sept 6, but that's always when school's back in, so not really "summer".)
I'm SO excited to have a summer baby FINALLY!! I LOVE the heat. And not having to worry with bundling up a baby, running through snow and ice into a building, etc, will be SO nice! We'll even be able to take walks outside! Hooray!!

Joining the party late. I'm due July 28 or 30th, not sure which, with a boy. I expect I'll go early due to blood pressure already creeping up...

Glad to see so many July babies expected - and late July especially. Hope that doesn't increase the competition for NB fluff ;)

Wow it's been awhile since I've checked on everyone here. It looks like we're having a girl, but having another u/s in about 5 weeks. I've been so busy lately, it seems like this pregnancy is flying by and I haven't had much time to think about classes and baby related stuff! (I did nab a couple of diapers today though, I couldn't resist getting something girly!)
Does anyone else feel like their pregnancy is going way fast!
Anyone planning on doing lamaze, bradley, hypnobabies,etc.. classes? I've gotta make some calls!

We're due July 19th, and so far at every appt she and I have measured within days of that date. Of course, that doesn't make any promises. I'll be off work since I teach which means I can hide out in the a/c, and MIL has a pool. however, it's 30 min away. We'll see.

Hey everyone! Just going to post quick and then catch myself up on the thread in case DD wakes up soon.

I just got back from the midwife and everything went great, I am 26 weeks, the only interesting thing was that I gained 7 lbs in a month? ummm.... my scale said more like 5 so I think I like that better. But either way it's fine because I really hadn't been gaining a lot. It seems like baby has had a huge growth spurt lately, my belly has really gotten bigger! You can actually tell i'm pregnant now. LOL! I'm having a homebirth and i'm so excited about that. I am nervous about having 2 under 2 though!

I am doing Hypnobabies home study program and I really like it. Anyone else?

OK I read the whole thread now so I know what we are all talking about. :)

Gender: I chose not to have an u/s so obviously we don't know. I am having boy vibes and DH is having girl vibes! We will find out in July!

NB Stash: I don't have much yet but at least I started! It seems like every time I find something I want on fsot it's sold already. I have:

7 KL0s (4 white, 3 white with pastel stitching)
2 WAHM fitted dipes
orange interlock longies
A really cool prefold, wool cover and t shirt set from Batik Bum
Blue and white cashmere longies (on the way)
one nb BSWW
one random hemp fitted diaper

I want to get more fitteds, XS thirsties covers, and maybe 6 GMD orange prefolds. I hate to spend tons of $ on NB stash since they wear it for only like a month, but it's so cute!

I set up a diaper registry too so i'm hoping some people might buy off that. We really have all the other baby stuff we need since dd is only 15 mo.

I also have 2 goodmamas and a load of MEOS but those are really DD's diapers!

NJ... Congrats. I'm glad all is going well! You'll do great with the two littles:) My first two are 5 days shy of a year apart. It was ROUGH the first bit, but I wouldn't trade it! Actually, my first three are less than three years apart. Wow. Glad I had more energy back then! :lostit:
How wonderful for the hb. This will be our fourth hb. We LOVE it! DH tells EVERYONE how great it is:) He LOVES not rushing to the hospital, dealing with bad nurses and the doctors, ANY stay, or having to come back home with the newborn. We had our sixth at 12:15am. When the mw deemed us both healthy and fine, she left and the rest of us went to bed! We were a complete family then and there!
