No way! I use to live in Statesboro a few years ago..I'm in Jesup now. Only an hour and 15 minutes away. I have 3 or 4 friends over in Statesboro that cloth diaper!

I live in Stockbridge which is only a 3 to 4 hr drive from Savananah we may be going to Savannah for vactaion this summer if moeny picks back up

Yup....soft play at Oglethorpe Mall. We'd be up for that, J loves it there. My kids also like to play at Forsyth Park when it gets warmer, maybe that would be an option as well this spring. We like to take our schooling on the road and enjoy the outdoors before it gets too hot and muggy. :goodvibes:

ACK!!! I could just cry a river! I can't believe there are that many of you right here under my nose! I know Lisa....started me CD'ing and totally to blame for my ds addiction!!! But I didn't know there were more of us around here! I'm totally in for a meeting.....kids playing sounds nice....but wouldn't a diaper swap be fun? HUGS to all!

reviving this thread to share some info and say HELLO!!!! I am in Savannah and no most of the OP's "people" most of which are in Statesboro. Anyways- lets keep this thread going ladies!
okay heres the other bit of info...

just an FYI to anyone in the general area... On May 17th at Lake Mayor here in Savannah from 10-12 there is a free babywearing gathering where there will be opportunity to try a bunch of different carriers and get instruction etc. its free and they are not selling anything. Just 2 moms wanting to share the love =-) There is a craigslist post:thumbsup:

Hey guys! I am in Statesboro! Yay! I am excited to have all the local ladies on one thread! I know a few of ya'll. Right now I have an almost 10-week old Cadence and an almost 3-year old Cherish so we're not getting out much. At least to the malls and such. But once fall comes around, a fun day at the park would be GREAT! Maybe the S'boro moms could do Mill Creek or something...or ALL of us (S'boro and beyond :) could go to some nice park in Savannah or something. I don't know my way around except for here and Brooklet....so someone else make suggestions, but I just wanted to join in the fun :) :goodvibes:

I live in Warner Robins GA and I'm just starting to CD. I'm awaiting my diapers I ordered from mamas on DS. I'm so excited (even losing sleep over it). I have no idea what I'm doing though. I would love to find local moms who could help me figure it all out! Does anyone know of a class or mom that holds a "diapering party" somewhere in GA? Thanks!

ok...so this is my first post...I am currently in SAV and would LOVE to meet up with other preg-o mamas or new mamas or any mamas...I am from here but did not grow up here so I very few friends in the area. Hello mama's I just moved to Glennville this past Nov. I am kind of in the middle of everyone. Statesboro moms I am going to start working out there a couple hours a week. It would be great to meet up with other CDing moms.

Hey mama, my DH is from Glennville. There is a lady who CD's at his parents church (Watermelon Creek). They were telling me about it this weekend and how there was embroidery on the bottom of the diaper with flowers. If it's not you, there is at least one other CD'ing mom in Glenville! My in-laws are very pro-CD'ing. My MIL CD'd her children and just loves all the new CD stuff. :giggle:
