regina has micheals! i would trade walmart and a dozen other useless stores for micheals! not to mention there are two of the best ap and crafty stores right beside each other on 13th!
wow theres more of us than i thought

nice to know there's other people who go there. i'm soooo sad about leaving my city i'm in now. we have 2 micheals and 3 walmarts! LOL.
Well sask ladies we should all arrange some sort of playdate in the summer for all the kids!

Hahaha... my dad worked for City Hall, they probably know each other fairly well, lol. What a small world isnt it? Bizarre...
Estevan has a FANTABULOUS indoor water park with waterslides and a totally awesome kiddie pool! Regina has loads of fun places to meet up... not sure about Saskatoon...
I am not a big Michaels fan though... I spend too much money every time I go there... :giggle:
The store on 13th... Groovy Mama, one of my good friends owns that store and we do these awesome "get the poop on cloth diapering" workshops together where we educate parents about cloth diapers... its loads of fun!! (you can read about it in my blog http://tushclothdiapers.ca/blog). The other store... Golden Willow is heaven on earth... the most amazing fibre store and the owner Sharon is sooo super nice. We are lucky to have those two stores here and I would gladly trade all the walmarts in the world to keep those stores around forever!!

Bamboozles and Bum Genius... we have another CD retailer here who works from her home and has Motherease products and of course I have a bit of stuff left too (I'm selling all my retail and letting the pros take over that market...lol). No shortage of places to buy CD's here in Regina - we like to have the bases covered. :)

Heya! I commented in another thread about this... but do remember having a conversation with someone nursing a newborn at the craft show in Regina? That was me!!!
Are you on the Regina Moms forum?? PM me if not, there are MANY MANY CD/baby wearing mamas there!
Speaking of baby wearing - every time I wear DD I get so much attention - its always positive but people always act like they've NEVER seen anything like it before! We dont own a bucket seat - so I wear dd everywhere... the older generation just LOVE it !

Groovy Mama on 13th Ave - she carries Bum Genius, Bamboozles, Gabby's, Prefolds, Bummis... and Hydrox 2 the most amazing laundry soap EVER!
There is also Kim who runs Clothology out of her home - she'll be at the baby expo this weekend (the 6th I believe). She has Motherease and Green Acre Designs.... and some other stuff, but I'm not entirely sure what! She also crochets some pretty amazing stuff (Essential Elements on HC).
Have fun!!!

Me! Me! Me! I 'm down south. We've only been here for a year now, we came from the 'burbs of Vancouver. I'm happy I found DS cause the only people I know that are pro cloth are my mom, step mom, and a best friend (she convinced me to try cloth) and she doesn't even have or ever plan to have kids! Everyone else thinks I'm off my rocker.

I'm a soon-to-be cloth diapering mom in La Ronge! I anticipate being the only BWing & CDing mom in town - they all already think I'm a weirdo, though b/c I've been driving my scooter (2002 Yamaha Vino) around town for years.
I'm originally a farm girl from Star City (moved from there to here when I was 10) and hubby is from Luseland (near Unity). Good to see other SK parents on here :)

Looks like lots of Regina moms. Cool. :) I'm a Saskatoon mom. I'm a dog trainer, handler, and photographer... and a crafty mom to boot. LOL I make diaper inserts that fit inside G-diapers (and I use them in my super brites too), rag quilts, baby necklaces (that are stretchy), and ring slings. I like sewing, and baby stuff is just sooo much fun to do. LOL
My wee one (I've only got one "skin kid") is Lily-Ann. She'll be sixteen months in five days. She's the light of my life, and my inspiration in so many things. She really is my whole world. I tell her that she's "awesomerific" - which is soooo much better than just being awesome or terrific. LOL
