After DD's birthday party yesterday, I realized that I need to get out and make the effort to help make friends for her! So I want to host a playdate! We have tons of toys and she got a swing set for her birthday. Anyone interested in coming? I would love to meet some area mamas!

Probably about 1-1.5 hours. We go up to Cary to hit the Kid 2 Kid every once in a while :giggle:

Awesome!I'll get back to you on times/days.DH works CRAZY hours..either days or nights and it changes every week...so i can't usually plan too far ahead.He's working all weekend too:( Maybe i could drop him off one day this weekend and we could take them to the Fascinate U museum?I've been dying to take Ava but things always happen!

I would be interested in going to a playdate. Quinn and I get back into town this Sunday. My little girl is 14months and I know some other mamas from my myspace group that have little girls around the same age and we try to get together for playdates as well.

K let me see what's going on those days for me:goodvibes: Hey let me ask you something.Can you possibly recommend a sitter who is cd friendly?We're moving on Feb 17th ish and i just really think it'd be WAY easier if i could have someone watch my 2 lo's for a few hours kwim?My kids NEVER go to sitters so i wouldn't even begin to know how to look for one!

OMGoodness seriously!?Awesome!Well good our kids can meet ahead of time at the playgroup!Does $40 for 4 or 5 hours sound reasonable?

Yea that sounds fine. I have 1 crib, 1 pack n play and an extra bed if they need to take naps. Oh I do have a dog and cat. The cat steers clear of kids and the dog just lays low.

We have a dog too.DD LOVES doggies:goodvibes: Good that you have places for naps.DD doesn't nap much anymore dut DS will nap about every 3 hours:thumbsup: He's a really laid back baby.He's learning to sit up/ roll right now and if you'd let him, he'd roll around on the floor for an hour LOL

I jsut saw this, lol! We were out most the day yesterday, lol! Looks like you found a sitter, lol! I would definitely recommend one. It was crazy for us when Mia was 17 months old, I can't imagine it with 2 of them

Oh yeah..i learned my lesson last time we moved:banghead: I was like 3-4 months pg and Ava was 17 months old too lol.It was when everyone was getting the flu.DH had it the DAY we moved and Ava and I got it the next day:yuck:

I definitely am! Our fence is almost up (delayed due to the snow and DH's work schedule, lol). We could also meet up at the Chik-fil-a or something to play in their playplace

Does anyone know of any good places to do a playdate? My house is just not ready yet (we will be tearing out the carpet soon and my fence is STILL not up, but that's another post :giggle:). We actually have highs in the 70's for today and tomorrow and then it gets cold again, so outside would work for me if it were tomorrow, lol.

It was just my DH and a buddy putting it up, and we had to buy new tools :rolleyes: It was a wooden fence, so it took a bit longer.

Oh ok yeah the housing office said we could put it up ourselves if we wanted to.Hell no..i know my husband..we'll have half a fence for 3 years :giggle2: Hey guess what.I had some diapering things for sale on CL and a girl came to get the stuff...well..turns out she's here on DS too and she's really nice.Her names HappyMommyto2 i think.So now we have another mama to do the playgroup thing with :goodvibes:

Hi guys... I just found this thread, and I think I know some of you already! I'd love to get together on Thursday, Christina, if its still on.
Also, I'd be happy to have a playdate at my house. Last week my in-laws were in town and we painted and moved furniture. I'm ready to show it off! Maybe on thursday of the following week?
