Raleigh (and surrounding areas) playdate?

I have seen some interest in maybe having a play date, or such....any suggestions? Times/dates? We could start throwing around some ideas...:thumbsup:

Me, me! I don't live there, yet. We are planning on moving there in July. I'm going to the Wake County Teacher Job Fair in April. Crossing fingers that I get a job! I'd love to chat with you mamas if you don't mind. I'm VERY, VERY NERVOUS about moving! We have NO FAMILY there. We know NO ONE!!!!!!

I can give you most any info about WCPSS if you need it. I'm a teacher and have been with Wake County for 9 years. I am only 20% (one day a week) now, but I was full-time until I had kids. I also went to school here so I know a lot about the schools. What grade level?

MK-oh that's wonderful....I will probably ask you questions!

I am currently a math/science specialist....basically Title I Math Intervention, but I teach all 3-5 classes...on a rotation basis. I also work with small groups, intervention. Before that I taught grades 3, 5 and 6. I would LOVE to get a job like I have now, but would like grade 3! I'm at a magnet school, so I would like to do that. I've taught for 10, 11 years now...

I would be interested in play dates too. I live in Raleigh, near Carmax, Umstead Park, Brier Creek area. I have an almost 3 year boy and a 6 week old little girl.
