So I'm just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced this, or if you have any thoughts to share...

The other night when we went upstairs to give DD a bath, she started wiping soap (bar soap on the side of the tub) onto her finger and sucking it off with a HUGE grin on her face :giggle2: LOL.

I'm just wondering if there are any other mamas of soap eating tots out there? LOL

Well the way I look at it is its a way kids learn. I would worry if she was trying to get to it when it was not bath time.. My first dd had PICA (PICA means she eats non food items) until she was 5 use to drive me crazy I had to hide lotions, soaps, make up, cleaning supplies what ever else looked soft enough to eat from her.

Oh my gosh, I can see her doing that. EVERYTHING goes into her mouth!

The first time she ate the soap we were getting ready for bathtime, the other attempts she wandered into the bathroom behind me and went straight for the soap...

Clearly, we'll have to keep it out of her reach and keep an eye out to ensure she doesn't get into anything else..
