Ok, I tried to Google this and apparently I'm Google-challenged or something.

DS got all his baby teeth and his 2 yr molars came in last year. All day he's been complaining about his back teeth hurting. He'll be 3 next month. Is he getting more molars??

He eats absolutely no sugar--not even fruit juice. We brush his teeth every night. But he has GERD and regurgitates in his mouth A LOT. Please, please, please tell me that he's not getting tooth enamel damage from stomach acids!

Children don't get 3 yr old molars. They get them at 12 mo, 2 yr, 6 yr, and 12yr, if I remember correctly. As for his back teeth hurting, my guess would be there is some decay. My oldest had some issues with that and found that even though we were brushing regularly, 97% of what she drinks is water, and she didn't have much sugar, because the grooves in molars are so deep, we just weren't quite getting them well enough. She had a cavity in one of her molars and when they fixed it they went ahead and sealed the others to prevent cavities in those teeth. Sounds to me like you're either doing the same thing I did, or that his GERD is causing issues. I suggest taking him in to a good dentist and having it checked out.

Oh, and if he's never been to a dentist, go in yourself and let him watch you get checked so he can see it's no big deal. We did that with our kids and never had a problem getting them to the dentist.

Good luck!
