Hi Mamas, I'm in Montpelier....first baby due 1/5/09, and hoping/planning to CD. Have registered for some AOIs, pockets, a few covers and a couple dozen prefolds...but I have a feeling diapers aren't what people want to buy for baby showers. : )

My DH is very skeptical about CD, so the plan is to get together a minimal stash in NB/small, heavy on the easy ones like AOIs, and see how it goes. If anyone has anything in their stash they're willing to part with for cheap, please let me know--I didn't realize how expensive used CDs were until I started looking on DS! :blush:

We use to visit Rutland frequently when DH's grandma was alive ( I was actually in Pitsford today driving around while the kids napped :giggle: ). We still go down occasionally since are Honda's are serviced down there and I like to go to that Joanns :)

I am in Groton and spend most of my time in Barre-Montpelier or STJ.

DH's family has been in STJ/Lyndonville for generations.

I'm probably not good for a diaper swap. Everything we have, we use/need, but if anyone is destashing and you have BG organics (snaps only), Fuzzi Bunz pockets with the pointy tabs, or some GN wool longies/shorties or IV Bumpy covers let me know. I'd be happy to buy for the right price.

Just came across this post. My DH and I are relocating back to VT soon. We lived in Winooski for 5 years but are looking to move closer to Waterbury this time around. Our first baby is due 1-2-10. :-)

Are there any Burlington area AP-type online or playgroups? And do you have any opinions on the Burlington area school districts?
