We are residents of Wisconsin but my husband was born in Michigan and so was his father, where he was born and raised. They have roots and memories that tie in with the UP aka Upper Peninsula... So my father in law and husband are starting a whole biker thing.
They want to get a lot of bikers together to ride and enjoy the scenery and such. I think it is an amazing idea. They are great people and its not like an all Harley organization. They actually neigher have one so they know the whole stereotypical issues with what. Its not about what you ride and this is also helping to show that.
Well long story short.. I dont know who of you who ride or know people that do but I wanted to let you all know about it. Its going to be beautiful in the summer and there is a discount card you can purchase for hotels and restaurants. Its actually pretty neat and im impressed they can pull this off. I just wanted to share this with you for anyone in the mid-west that might be interested. all biker boy and girls welcome. it doesnt matter what you ride, it doesnt matter your age. Just come, see the sights and enjoy eachother.
If you are interested you can check out the website. They also just set up a forum about biker stuff and about the trip itself. There is also a newsletter my father-in-law sends out periodically to let everyone know whats going on.
