First drs appointments

I just made mine today. It's for April 14th. Hopefully we will hear the heartbeat. I heard both my ds's around 8 weeks! :wub:

EDIT--The doc called yesterday and rescheduled my apt. Now I have to wait till May 5!!! Holy crap that's a big gap! Well, I'll definately hear the heartbeat then!

Well, I'm only 4 weeks tomorrow (Friday), so it's going to be a while yet.
We will be seeing the same homebirth Midwife that we had for both of our DS's births (she's awesome!), so I probably won't make my first appointment till around 12 weeks.

By baby #4 (and having them +/- 2 yrs apart) pg is kind of old hat for me :giggle:

Mine does not see you till 10 weeks so i have a while. Appt is May 12th by then I will be 11 weeks though!

I can't call my doc till monday . Then I'll be going in for bloodwork and then if I make till then , they're going to do an U/S . so that we can make sure baby's there and where it's suppose to be .

Mine is for April 29th, I will be 7 weeks. My doc wants to see me between 6-8 weeks b/c I am considered high risk now b/c my ds was born at 32 weeks. At least I get to see the baby sooner! :)

Mine is April 30th. I O'd late in my cycle, so I told them to book it for 9 weeks just to be sure. My last two pregnancies I went in at the 8 week mark and I appeared "behind" and the pregnancy wasn't validated until I came in a week later. A bunch of stress for nothing. I just ovulate late! :)

Anyway, I can't wait and I want to see my peanut on that screen!

Just ends up I had an appt with my dr on April 22nd anyway so I will just go to that. Hope that all will still be well then! Have to go for bloodwork though to confirm they said. It will be my 6th baby (5th preg though) so I think I can tell...

Mine was Friday. I actually already had it schedualed for my annual but then I got the BFP so I called and they told me to come on in!

My appt. is April 22nd, but it's not an actual doctor visit... it's called "orientation" but the other moms here said you sit and do paper work, watch a video, and listen to a nurse talk while everyone takes turns going in to talk withthe nurse... It takes hours and they said it's very boring for those who already have kids... yay for me. lol I can't wait to hear little bean's heartbeat. I will be high risk because ds had a heart defect, so hopefully I can get in soon so I can get my refferal for a specialist. Not worried, just wanting to make sure we are good to go.

I just called to make mine today and got an appointment for Tuesday the 15th. I'm totally surprised I'm going this early. I'm wondering if it's because I had an early miscarriage in February and he just wants to make sure things are ok. But it's not like at 5 weeks there will be anything to see on an ultrasound, so I guess he'll be doing a test in office to confrim and probably some bloodwork. :yuck:

Confirmed monday that with the test at home, and then called that day to make an appt, and got in Yesterday to see. Had my bloodwork and initial exam done yesterday and of course the confirmation yes I am pregnant. Go in for the first U/S May 14th.
When I was talking to the receptionist I actually asked her, isnt it to early to make the first appt. with my other two I wasn't booked for at least an extra month. I was over two months pregnant at that point. So this was definately early for me this time.
