I'm so worried we won't have enough diapers... I've never CD'ed a new baby before (I started DS at around 4 months old straight into small FB's).

http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h108/JGyland83/102_3371.jpg

So we have:

12 XS Thirsties pocket AIOs
12 XS Wonderworks AIOs
6 XS Thirsties Fab Fitteds
6 Newborn Heiny Huggers
4 XS Thirsties covers
1 Newborn Mutt fitted
1 Newborn Fleece Pull-on
1 Small Fleece Pull-on
1 Newborn Be-Bops reversibe pull-on
1 Newborn fish wool wrap
1 XS crochet sealife soaker

All that's missing from the picture is 3 Newborn Nanipoo fitteds. We've got one with seashells (on Noah's doll right now) and a shark and a beach dog on the way to us.

I have a dozen small Drybees pockets also - I'm told they start fitting into them well at around 3 or 4 weeks so we'll have those to use starting then.

ADVICE???

Thanks mamas!

Looks good. The only thing I would suggest is a dozen prefolds but that is JMO.

I was thinking of picking up 6 more fitteds but I'm just not a fan of prefolds - especially with EBF babies. I know - I'm a whimp or something. It just seemed sooooo messy with Noah when I tested it out.....

The prefolds aren't just for diapering though, they have a multitude of uses for a newborn in particular. Use them as burp rags, baby boy spray catchers(yes..I used prefolds for that, they worked quite well!) changing table pads, etc. Plus, they are useful as doublers later on too.

True. I already have a whole bin of burp cloths though... for some reason, I got a boatload of those at my shower for DS#1.

Maybe I'll get some and we'll give it another try but it ALWAYS ended up in a huge mess and I was way too tired to get them on properly.

I never had many blow-outs with prefolds because the covers contained them all. I used nothing but prefolds on my dd as a newborn because I think some days I changed 18 diapers. They are easy to wash and dry.

I'd probably get another half dozen fitteds, but other than that I think you have a pretty great NB stash!

I think it looks great! I didn't love pfs in the beginning but now I'm all about them. It just took me trying out different folds.

I think you're stash will be just fine. How often are you doing laundry?

I was thinking every other day and that if I added 6 more fitteds, I might be able to swing every 3rd day. I was thinking about 6 Kissaluvs 0's..... think that would do it?

Oh wow! you are giving my stash an inferiority complex! LOL. I better get to work on that!

OH man, I should check to see if I have enough! I think I do but I have never CD'd a NB either. I stared when my last baby was about 12 months old and with solid poo's. I am a bit nervous!

:spit: You should have seen my eyes pop when I saw your stash---looks good to me! Mine is definitley a bit more....humble. Perhaps a few more fitteds, if that's more your style, just in case. Very Nice!
