i picked a couple names i liked and then Dh picked from my list ( not that Im super picky but... IF he picked something and i didnt like it.. whats the point lol )
a name i chose that he actually liked was Declan ( DECK-lan ) and we wanted a name that had a family tie and since it's a boy we decided to use my Dads name, Micheal..
it could either be....
Micheal Declan
or Declan Micheal.. not sure yet.. either way he will go by Declan.

yes....i only had the option if it was a girl with the last one.
I have more pull in the naming of this baby. We'll wait and see what we're having and probably change the name 10 more times.

Yup, we've had our boy name for a long while. And, since we're sure he is a he. It will be Logan Parker. I just love it.

I am waiting. W/ DS2 I had a name picked out and after he was born it didn't fit and then everyone was confused and upset that I changed on them  So this time I'm not telling them anything is set in stone. Right now it feels like Willow, but it may change once I see her :)

Oh, and we don't have a name yet - we have a few on the "we don't hate it" list and we'll wait until we see him to decide.

We have four names we love, 2 specifically, but we will not pick which one until we see his face.

I had a boy and girl name picked out before we ever started trying for babies. I used them on my first and third babies. My second was our second dd, and I made a list of girl names I liked and let hubby choose the names for a boy and girl. We had one we agreed on long before she was born. We have never found out the sex before birth with any of ours.
This surrogacy baby, the parents debated back and forth on names for awhile, but had the names picked before we found out it was a girl at the U/S at 27 weeks.

We had ours set right around the 20 week mark. I came up with it before that but because we were certain it was a girl we didn't discuss it. When we found out it was a boy, talked it over and agreed that it was it. We do have a second name as well, just in case. We actually never ended up settling on a girls name 100% so if my boy turns into a girl we might have to scramble a bit.

i always liked that name, a freind of Dh named their little girl Ella Rose, so that outed it for us ( DH doesnt want our kids to have the names of anyone that we know..lol he's weird ) but since this baby is a boy.. it's good to go..

I agree. We had picked out Owen and when our son was born, he just didn't look like an Owen. So, this time around we aren't really talking any names at all. I think we have a year to decide-hahahah!

hahaha, I read the op and though "they already have a baby named Declan, don't they know that?" Yeah I'm not brilliant. lol
We pick names before the baby is born. I have a few girl names I like right now but I cannot even think about boy names. They are just completely unappealing to me right now. We do plan to find out the gender this time so we will probably wait on talking boy names until then because mama instinct says we're having a girl.

I was a little confused there too!
DH has a girls name he LOVES, but I'm not very fond of. And I have a boys name I LOVE, but DH isn't feeling it.
I was sure of DD's name from very early on, it's weird actually debating this time around :)

No idea. Everyone hates everything I've come up with so far. I think Kathryn would be great. No one likes that one. Samantha is another no-no. DD thinks we did such a good job on her name, we should name this baby Natalie too or maybe Water or Piano or Watermelon. And my husband I gave up on after some of the names he suggested the last time around. *sigh* We're avoiding J names (because I don't think it would be right having three J names and one N name) and I want an A middle name (family tradition).

Zechariah James for boy and leaning towards Arielle Malia for a girl...

No names yet. We're going to find out the sex, so then we'll only have to come up with one name - which will be hard enough - not two.
