I'm 34 wks today and it just dawned on me that maybe I should wash up my stash and wash/lanolize all of my wool. I don't want to be too anxious and do it too early, but I also don't want to wait too long.

Have you started yet? Or are you done? Am I way behind with my preparing for baby?

I probably would have been starting around now if we weren't moving this weekend, but I want to wait until we get there (for some reason I feel like I'd have to do it again once we got there LOL). But I wouldn't have done it any sooner than this because I'm not one of the "lucky" ones who goes early and I don't want to torture myself like I did with DD by being completely ready weeks in advance!!

I am still waiting on some flats and preemie prefolds, once they come in I am going to wash everything...I already did most of my wool though :)
I am going to dye some nb gerber side snapping shirts this week...they were on sale at Target :)

I washed my diapers as they came, especially the ones I got on FSOT, but I plan on washing them again here soon. I have a few more I'm waiting on, and I'll probably have to do a few different loads to get them all washed. I'm gonna wash my prefolds again because I'm gonna dye and embellish some, so those I'll do sooner than the rest. I plan on waiting until about 36 or 37 weeks to wash and fold the rest though. Just like all the clothes...I've already washed and hung them, but they've been hanging for over a month, and I'm freaking out thinking they're getting dusty or something, so I'll have to do those again too. I can't wait to get the dipes washed and put away! I want to take pics of my ENTIRE stash, where nothing is missing in the pics!

I am going to re-wash everything soon too....we will have to start a "stash" thread when we are all ready... I have some things coming in and tons of stripping to do when the prefolds get here! THEN I'll be ready to take first ever stash pics :)

I really need to get on this!

I've prepped my prefolds, maybe one more wash for them...they've been sitting on my dryer for months getting washed randomly :giggle: I've been meaning to dye them as well, but we'll see if I actually get around to that!
I've also washed the few FSOT dipes I've gotten already.

But, I have a bunch of new stuff that I haven't washed at all yet which I'd better get motoring on!

My dipes are all washed and set to go - but it was extremely easy this time since 95% is stuff from baby #1, and the other few "new" things for me were EUC and already "prepped". I just washed all the diapers yesterday, and the covers today. I still need to get out my NB/S wool and wash/lanolize that - but at least since I have the PUL and fleece covers ready, it's not like I won't have anything to use.

I am 35 weeks and one day now, but since my ds was born at 36 weeks and 6 days, I'm feeling like time is running out and I don't want to be unprepared like I was last time!

Nope, I'm with you, just doing a home birth so mine is all in the closet waiting :giggle: I think we are right at the same due time...

DS has been weird and hasn't let me edit my sig lately! :headscratch: I'm due on the 7th. We had last minute switched to having a homebirth, but before the paperwork was final my OB called and pretty much had a heart to heart with me. I left mainly because of fear of hospital routines and protocalls, but I am confident that I will be in charge at the hospital! I have my DF, a doula (who is also my friend :wub), and a great lax OB. I'm also taking my Aquadoula to the hospital with me! :lostit:

Completely OT I know, but it's awesome that you get to take your Aquadoula to the hospital with you! It sounds like you will have a great experience!

I'm getting ready to start. I've washed a few of the prefolds I'm going to dye but not any of the other dipes. I need to find out what to do with my newborn longies and stuff. I've never used wool and have ZERO lanolizing stuff??

I just ordered the combo/convertible crib we are going to use for our new little one. As soon as that baby is set up in our bedroom, then I'm going to start baby prepping clothes and diapers. I don't have any place to put them right now except back into a clothes basket. I'd rather wait until the furniture is set up so I can organize properly and put it away!

What I have so far is washed and prepped and sitting out on the back patio sunning itself (all FSOT diapers)...I am hoping to convince DF to let me get a bunch of new NB nanipoos fitteds but we will see if that works or not!

I just prepped my newborn PF's today, washed all the baby clothes yesterday, and am starting to wash the other diapers (mostly fitteds) now. I haven't started on wool yet, though, and I have a lot to wash & lanolize. It's been so long since I did it that I don't remember how!
