I had a natural delivery with my DD and a c-section with my DS because he was breech. Does anyone know any doctors in the area that will perform a vbac? Preferably at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose.

I had my VBAC @ the new Kaiser in Feb...they're really VBAC friendly (my c/s was due to breech as well). I've never delivered at GS, but a friend of mine said its a nice facility ...couldn't say about the Dr.s...

I had the same thing happen! My son was a normal vaginal and my daughter was a c-section due to breech. I was told by my friend thats a lactation consultant at Good Sam, that my best option was to stick with the Santa Teresa Kaiser for a vbac. :hugs: hth...

this site might help you http://www.gentlebirth.org/local/resources.html
On her site I found this OB: Dr. Kendrick at Good Sam and it said she is VBAC friendly.
I only know of O'connor (there is a great VBAC friendly OB/ midwife group. Mary O'Neil) Oh and def dont go to El camino hospital they do not allow VBACS at all :banghead:
Good sam apperently just requires the OB be there the whole time you are in labor so it is harder to find an OB willing to do that. Have you tried calling around? I hope you find a great OB who is VBAC friendly:goodvibes:

Thanks mamas. I found a doctor for Good Sams, her name is Dr Borrison I believe. I have an appointment with her on Tuesday so I'm praying that I'm a good candidate. I only had my DS 11 months ago so I hope they don't tell me it's too soon to try for a VBAC. Thanks mamas.
