I'm new here and i mostly just buy diapers but i thought what the hay.
I found out yesterday that the baby is already 5lbs 8oz and im just on my 32 week. I do have GD and a history of very large babies, but for some reason i think this one is going to be my largest and i am horrified. I cant even sleep at night. I can handle up to 10lbs but after that i will definitely be looking into a c-c. Is anyone else having a giant watermelon. Oh i also found out she is on the 98%tile for her height and weight already. My toddler is 21 months and is still at the 100%tile. Soo..... How is everyone else doing?
the other thing is i have only gained 15lbs. i don't think ill have much to lose after this baby lol!:hairpull:

Last week at 31 weeks my babe was measuring at 4 lbs, 10 oz.

My DS was born at 34 weeks and was almost 6 lbs. I think this one is going to be a big baby too. :)

I had an ultrasound last Tuesday at 34 weeks and my LO was 5 pounds 11 ounces. I am really curious to see how much he weighs at birth. This is my first.

You have to remember that later u/s can be off as much as 2 pounds. They are notoriously wrong.

Good luck!

Mine was right on the last time. I'm interested in seeing how it turns out this time. She has measured big since her 18 week u/s. :)

I'm 36 weeks, but 2 weeks ago when i had an US they guessed her to be about 5 lbs 1 oz, so i guess right about now she's close to 6. My daughter was born at 36 weeks 3 days and weighed 6lbs 5.9 oz!

A friend of mine had an ultrasound that showed her baby could be 11 lbs. Her doctor pushed her to schedule a c-section and the baby actually only ended up being 9.5 lbs. She had a long, miserable recovery and really questioned whether it was the best decision. Of course there is no way to know what would have happened if they hadn't done the c. It might have been worse.

My baby was measuring 6 lbs 4 oz today (35 weeks, 2 days), and overall was 60th percentile in size.

my 1st one was 9.5 lbs. the u/s estimated he was gonna be 10 lbs.

i go next monday, i'll be 38 weeks, for an u/s.
they want to induce me at 39 weeks cause i've been measruing big.
i'm already dialated to 2 cm and 50% effaced and with the full moon being on monday, i am hoping to have her before 39 weeks.

4lbs 15oz at my 32 week US last Wednesday. I've got GD (again), so they'll be inducing me on/around 6/24. Even if she is putting on 1/2 lb per week, that's still between 8 and 9 lbs, which is doable.

DD1 came out at 7lbs 15oz, and I think she was around the same size as this one at the same point.

I had an u/s Wednesday (I was 35w0d) for size & position. I know that u/s this late in the game can be off by even a pound... but they "estimated" this baby was 6 1/2 pounds already. I don't think it's accurate. Her femur measured right on with my due date, her belly measured 3 weeks ahead, and her head measured almost 2 weeks ahead. I know any large or small measurements can throw off the weight estimation...

At my first u/s, I was 18w0d, and the baby was estimated to weigh 8 oz! I can't believe it's almost time for me to have her! 3 weeks from tomorrow until my c-section!

a week from friday i have another U/S. i have GD and when i had DD she was a big baby too... so bound to happen again. but my GD has been very controlled this time... due to my strict dieting and exercising. :) i'm like the GD nazi this time. anyway - had a u/s last week and baby is measuring 7lbs 7oz already at 34 weeks!! yikes!!!
